Ted Olsen not sorry enough

extra credit

My Shorter Oxford Dictionary has an entry for unicorn. Will I be seeing one in my garden anytime soon?

Depends ....Does your garden sit on the beach of the Arctic ocean ?
Eighty three percent of sceptics and scholars that depend on abridged and condensed
dictionaries and/or online progenies can discuss their newfound wisdom with their peers here.....

The word "unicorn " does have an entry in the grown-up dictionary but the first word
in the definition is the qualifier "legendary"'

No qualifier is contained in the definition for the word "illuminati".

You must have missed this.Do you actually read anything that the others post here?

Quote:
Illuminati An identification generally adopted since the fifteenth century by those who believe they have a special understanding of mystical, occult, and obscure matters. The official Order of the Illuminati, though it had its origins much earlier, was a secret society founded in May of 1776 by Bavarian university law professor Adam Weishaupt (1748-1811). Originally a group of republican freethinkers loosely related to the freemasonry movement, it really lasted only a decade or so, but interest in the group was happily rekindled later by authors such as Aleister Crowley and today a plethora of dunderhead conspiracy nuts such as Texe Marrs——publisher of “Power of Prophecy”——ascribe to these underground agents——as well as the freemasons movements——every sort of imaginable, rascally, devious, action against humanity.
Certainly, the Illuminati notion must be the most adaptable and wide-reaching of all conspiracy theories. It takes in such subjects as communism, the French Revolution, kabala, the Ku Klux Klan, the Mafia, magic, pyramids, Satanism, spoon-bending, Stonehenge, UFOs, witchcraft, Zionism, and many other silly pursuits and philosophies. The UK’s David Icke who has never hesitated to plunge into any conspiracy idea, has declared that the Illuminati are reptilian aliens.

Yes - I did read the post
Here is what you excised from the post that disqualified the definition
http://www.randi.org/encyclopedia/Illuminati.html

Now - compare the Randi dictionary to a legitimate grown-up dictionary cited previously--
Webster's Columbia Encyclopedic Dictionary 1941 ed N Y
Page 362e ..............

Illuminati n. pl. A term formerly applied to certain sects and secret societies ,
now applied to persons who affect to possess extraordinary knowledge whether justly or otherwise.

See the difference ? Not all dictionaries are equal-
IMO the Charlie Brown dictionary would be superior to the Randi dictionary on
many levels-- Bic ?

2nd link --5 missing images ? how come ?

Somebody doesn't want these images viewed ? Why ?

Either that somebody wants to lead us by the nose or that someone holds the lower level of society in such utter contempt that he is laughing at them.

Um, because the suggestion that Barbara Olsen had some kind of major cosmetic surgery and took over the life of another woman is grossly idiotic.

Boogey man gonna getcha, Fonebone.

Ted was dating ths woman within months of Barbara's death. They married a about year or so later I think and emigrated to somewhere unclear in Europe

Oh, I know, near the Polish Austrian border, right?

There is certainly some evidence that Barbara was arrested there with millions in interbank currency. She was released sharpish though and the story was stamped on.

PS It was the Polish-German border I think not that such a detail matters.

Since the point has sailed over your head once more, I'll spell it out for you:

Much like Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, Unicorns, Bigfoot, Jesus and Satan, most of us here don't believe there is such a thing as illuminati so if you're going to try to convince us there is, then you'd better come with something other than a Webster's definition, no matter superior you believe yours to be. I can show you definitions of each thing I listed above from multiple sources. That doesn't make them real.

You fail.

"some evidence." hee hee.

I am sure you don't think that a detail like Poland and Austria not having a border matters. And "millions in interbank currency." Such pretty language Bill! What a completely misleading way to refer to about 3000 bucks worth of Italian Lira.

By the way, Ted Olson is working in Washinton DC, he was just working on the California Prop 8 lawsuit.

Bill, just more quality "truthing" from you, keep up the truthy work.

Well you were the one who said the Polish-Austrian border. I corrected you without embarrassing you but if you think it was an important mistake you made then so be it. But we all forgive you I'm sure.

I doubt that Barbara would have been arrested for 3,000 dollars. Are you sure you are not making another mistake ?

Ted may be back now...but is Lady Barbara ?

Hee hee hee!! You think I made up this stupid story?

About Barbara Olson being arrested on the "Polish-Austrian" border (by French agents, no less!), carrying "millions" in fake Italian lira (which was doubly hilarious, because Italy was by then using the Euro), and carrying a Vatican passport.

No Bill, I did not, it was one of your moron truther pals. FANTASTIC POSTS BILL, you are indeed a shining shaft of gold when all around is dark.

Randi has an Atlas too ?

Oh, I know, near the Polish Austrian border, right?

Does the Randi Atlas indicate a common border between Poland and Austria ?

Was this Randi Atlas created by the same scholars as the renown Randi dictionary ?

My grow-up Atlas doen't indicate a common border between Poland and Austria -
The Charlie Brown atlas might be a suitable upgrade candidate
for your consideration.

Well you see it's called interbank currency because Europe had just switched to the Euro and the national currencies were no longer accepted in the shops. But in the banks- no problemo. There is always a long period where you can change the old currency for the new. Didn't you know ? The Vatican passport would be no particular surprise...even the old Nazis had those.

Hey maybe you should have sent your Charlie Brown atlas to the truther who made up the story in the first place. And that Bill is repeating here, even though it was made up by an idiot truther, and was full of god damn lies.

This is a GREAT THREAD truthers!! Keep pointing out how stupid the freaking story is, Please!

I'll take TWO laughing dogs here, boyos!

You would think that he would just accept that he'd made an error instead of all these stories. jeez....
