Ummm... yeah, it still looks crazy. Face it, mhaze: O'Donnell's a Grade-A nutjob, and Karl Rove had it pegged when he openly criticized her and her supporters on Fox News. The only thing Rove did wrong was to have the balls to come out and say publicly what everyone already knew (save for those who had drunk the O'Donnell Kool-Aid). Now the GOP is in the unenviable position of having to defend and even endorse this weirdo.

The last time I saw something this whacked out was here in Illinois during the 2004 election cycle, and the state GOP got Alan Keyes to go up against Obama. Alan freakin' Keyes! Running in a Democratic state like Illinois! Except it's even worse than that, because had they gone with the more moderate Mike Castle, he'd have been a shoe-in for the Senate seat and the GOP would have had a decent shot of retaking the Senate in November. Now, the Republicans can kiss that idea goodbye!
