Any time someone mentions what nutbars Palin or the Teabaggers are, some Republican or Libertarian apologist gets his panties in a bunch and tries to derail the thread.

Kind of proves my point.

But you still wouldn't describe people who think Roosevelt obtained advanced knowledge of Pearl Harbor and let it happen as "thinking Roosevelt was behind the Pearl Harbor attack" or "thinking Pearl Harbor was an inside job".

If you're gonna accuse people of colossally stupid things, at least accuse them of the right colossally stupid things.

It's true. She's looking at her palm in the interview and in a blow-up of the video you can see the notes.

How, exactly, does this make Palin a moron? Because she uses a tacky cueing technique? Certainly, deviating in this way is unusual, but politicians and pundits all say or do something outside the norm one way or another.

Seriously, if Sarah Palin needs a cheat sheet to remind her to talk about "tax cuts" and "rais[ing] American spirit" at the freaking Tea Party Convention, then there's no hope for her at all. How is any of that crap "outside the norm" for what she normally spews, much less for the teabaggers?

Really, she was actually incapable of memorizing those phrases? She had to resort to the high school method of writing them in pen on her palm and actually looked at them during her talk in order to remember to talk about that stuff? That's like having to cheat on the part of the test that asks you to fill in your own name!

That's political idiocy on a whole new level.
