TAM6 - what do you look like?

I'd pay money to see you eat whatever breakfast you get at that price.

I recall one place I stayed at in Latvia - everyday, breakfast was mystery Baltic Hotdogs & Something. Some days the something was canned beets, other days it was (we think) powdered eggs. Every day was a new surprise, but the weird hotdogs kept it consistent.

I'll have you know, this was considered a pretty high end resort town during communism.
 
It's really touching more than I can say here (though some of you know). I wish I could contemplate accepting help, but there are other rather tricky issues blocking TAM6 from being a realistic goal. TAM7 should be another matter entirely and I look forward to having the conundrum of accepting help then. :) Or denying it and scraping along on my nose because I'm stubborn. We'll see.

Kate; I'm pretty well committed (or maybe that's should be committed) for this year, but if (1) You have your schedule cleared for TAM7 and (2) Can't quite get up the scratch for attending and (3) You (and for that matter, I) still hanging around this place, you're there.

And people here will tell you, Ol'Hutch does what he says. (He is, however, mildly absent-minded, so you might want to bookmark this thread and quote it back to me in the future...:eek:

I'm ... well, I'm flabbergasted. I don't know how to handle all this niceness without turning into a wreck so I'll just say thank you and hope I come off at least somewhat gracious instead of bumbling. :blush:

The best way to "handle" it is to come to TAM7.

Thanks! And I have a legally binding piece of paper that says I'm not allowed to compete for boys. I can, however, compete in a friendly game of hopscotch?
 
Kate, we all know how special attending TAM is for all of us and it means a lot to everyone to see other forumites there. Hcmom is right, the best way is to come to TAM. Hugs also go a long way around for everyone at TAM.

DCTurner, you will be able to eat breakfast and lunch with us at TAM so if the pancakes are not enough, there will be food for you at TAM.

That was what I meant, and, I suppose you have a point, GG. Which is moot anyway, because I'm unable to compete against Kate or anybody else for boys, considering Mr. Saganite would take issue with that. I'm down for hopscotch any time, though!
