TAM2 Pictures

I put my photos and commentary on the web at http://home.comcast.net/~sromanowski/TAM2/The_Amazing_Meeting_2.html . I didn't remember everyone's forum name, so if you know someone without a name, or named as "?", please PM me with the information. I've broken the pictures into several pages so you won't get swamped with the full 8MB at once. The biggest page is the one about the Slammer Tour. :) Enjoy!

What an increadible event last weekend! It is so nice to be able to bask in the afterglow of the conference here on the forum.

I sure enjoyed meeting so many of the forum regulars, and I hope to up my post rate in the coming months.

I should have been more methodical in my picture taking, but here are a few random shots, including a few decent pics of the red rock field trip.

I have higher res version's, pm me if you would like one.

Cosmic, I'm afraid I'm going to have to kill you for that awful picture of me. I knew I should have kicked you out of my car!!

(couldn't you have just taken a picture of my butt?)

You will note that I successfully projected an "orb" while Ian was trying to pound a nail in his nose.

The S&M's come from Saudi Arabia.

In connection with getting a real human skeleton from a medical supplier, Penn was asked by the supplier whether he had a skeleton already. "Is this a trick question?" he replied.

Read about Penn's patent here. Yes, it's real.

After seeing the pix, I realized that the VW must be the same as the one Moe Faux drove to get Renata, Jamy, and me back from dinner one night. I should have taken a picture. D'oh!

Your right, it didn't do you justice.
See if you like the replacement, unfortunately I don't have a posterior shot :D

btw: Thanks for the ride!

Oh my, you really replaced it! Thanks!

And, it was no trouble at all chauffering you around. It was fun! Carpooling just isn't carpooling if there aren't other people in the car with you.

Scott, I am the "?" with her back to the camera in the Chocolate Challenge pic. And I'll have you know that I was NOT trying to influence the judges!

(Note to self: must tip hairdresser more next time--the back of my head looks very cute!)

The difference between carpooling with a bunch or by yourself is like the difference between an orgy and masturbation. The latter of each case invovle a smaller amount of lubricant.

As that ancient Irish Bard, Onan O'Brien, once rapped out:

Get the Beat - HUH!
Beat Your meat - HUH!
Put a quarter in the juke - HUH!
Boogie 'til you puke! - HUH!

Last 2 lines from Root Boy Slm and the Rootettes, "Boogie 'til you puke", copywrote 1971 by Vomitus Records, Washington, D.C., except for the "HUH" part, which I heard on NPR today.

FWIW - my pics from Las Vegas. I'm saving the TAM photos for the article... ;)

Pics
Thanks for that...I did not see any of those things. Not nearly enough time, and frankly if seeing 3 hours of these sights meant missing a minute of Quinn's piano playing...frankly, I'd rather see the pics you took. Thanks again.

I almost just choked on a french fry. You guys are going to kill me (and you know what they'd call an act like that).
I've been thinking about it and can't come up with a suitably funny answer. 'Murder' just doesn't cut it. I'll let you brag about it being called something like 'wasting a national treasure', so I'll ask

"No, I don't know what they'd call an act like that. What would if be called?"

Umm....ok, so I did not have a camera, let alone a digital camera, at The Meeting. But it seems that every time I turned around, somebody was taking a picture. Now, I don't particularly like pics of myself, and I wouldn't want to subject others to them, but at my advanced age my memory can only do so much, and I would greatly appreciate it if anyone who has pics with me in them (actually, only if there are other people as well--I don't need any pics of just me) would somehow get copies to me. PM for my e-mail address, or PM a link, or whatever works for you. I'll owe you one...and as Phil knows...well, never mind what Phil knows.

And just by the way, thanks to all who have posted pictures--I trusted that this would happen (my camera was in use that weekend at my daughter's play) and I am very happy with the pics that have been thus far posted. Once again, this community has come through...

I don't know if it is your camera or my computer, but that is absolutely not the color of that bug...a color for which Moe had a very appropriate descriptive...

The car I photographed was definetly pink. I think my camera was "fooled" on the original color because the car is half in shadow. Anyway, the license plaque is proof that it's Moe's car, I'd checked that out before.
