TAM X Roll Call

You do know us non-attendees will suffer for weeks, if not months, from endless threads loaded with pictures and comments like "Wow, it was so nice to finally meet you!"

Yeah, I'm jealous. Got a problem with that?
 
Well, it's TAM-time. Last year I had the free pass but didn't have the money for the trip itself. This year I am dogsitting until this evening. I'd thought about driving straight over there, arriving maybe around midnight and just going to have a beer or three at the Del Mar. But I don't know. Eh. Are the old TAMmers who were talking about going there? Did Girl6 go? I'm afraid I'll put a heavy burden on my car and then won't see anyone I know.

Well, I have no news for you on who showed up since I am stuck in Indiana working this weekend.
 
I think most of the old TAMmers here are on the above list, with the exception of Sam. Girl 6 didn't make it.

Though old TAMmers is based on my memory of who was at some of the room parties we were both at.

Ah, it was nice entertaining the idea of driving out late. I'd known since May that I'd be tied up until the 14th, but I let myself hope. But I'm officially out; was just to damned tired to do the drive.

You should go to the Del Mar later today. Most everyone who's still around will probably be there at some point.

I finally met xenxabar, and we crossed each other of our respective lists. I also probably met or ran into a lot of other forum folk and didn't realize it. (I ended up getting a non-creepy man-hug from MattusMaximus after a vaccination without realizing it was him!) Also, I think I met zooterkin, but don't remember. I only met crazylegsmurphy in spirit.

I have that problem a lot. :) You shook my hand as I came off the stage after the TAMbassadors photo. Sorry we didn't have time to talk for longer, or I'd have attempted to make an impression. :D
 
Ah, I remember now! Next time, I'll make sure "checking introductions off my list" ensures quality, as well as quantity! :D
