TAM 9 Penn and Teller @Rio

I'm sure we could have done a group sales thing too, but no one seemed to want to wait for that.
 
My husband and I got tickets for Sunday night's show, too. I don't remember where we're sitting, but I think Section 2, row G, seats 13 and 14. Maybe.

I'm glad someone posted a more realistic timeline (to allow for box viewing). I'd hate to miss anything like that!
 
Anyone know the run time of their show? I'm contemplating the Sunday gig, but I need to leave for the airport around midnight.

Do you have to leave for the airport by Midnight or be there by midnight?
Either way, it should work out... worst case is you'd have to skip meeting them after the show.

My flight out is at 1:50am. I like to give myself about two hours in case there are any surprises. If I'm clear of the rio by 11, this might be doable. I'd have to figure out transport though.

I just saw this on the TAM9 website: Due to the generosity of Penn and Teller, and as a fundraiser for the JREF, if you are a TAM registrant, you can receive a great discount on their show while you are in Vegas. This is a 2 for 1 discount, and this offer is good for any seat in the house except for the VIP section! The coupon is good from Wednesday, July 13th, 2011 - Sunday, July 17, 2011. To receive the 2 for 1 coupon, you can either call the P&T box office (888-746-7784) and give the code PNTTAM, and order your tickets now, or you can purchase the tickets directly at their box office during the TAM. When purchasing the tickets over the phone, you will receive the discount, but you must provide a PNTTAM coupon and a TAM badge when picking up your ticket(s). If you purchase the tickets in person, you will need to provide the coupon and your TAM badge. These discount coupons will be available at TAM.

I'm considering going Sunday night, then to the Peppermill after. I won't decide until Sunday, most probably, but anyone interested, keep this in the back of your mind.
 
Just spotted Richard Dawkins at the show checking out the box and signing the envelope.
 
The wednesday night show was a blast and I highly recommend the Gaylord indian restaurant at Rio!
 
Anyone going on Sunday need a ride? We can fit 2, and maybe a small third in the middle.

Just spoke to xinit over lunch and we are still planning on going for Indian food, in case anyone else wants to join--see above.

Bumlet5, I assume you're not planning on going that early, right?
 
Probably not. Anyone know details about dinner at the Peppermill? We would probably be up for that, and anyone going to the show that night can ride with us after. 5:00 is a bit early for dinner for us.
 
Actually, we had a large late lunch, so we're just going to go to the show and eat after. Apparently the Peppermill is a late-night place so that may be an option. Anyone wanting a ride to the show is welcome (we have room for 2 people in our car, or 3 very small people). Find me in the Del Mar around 8. I'm wearing a long white skirt.
 
Caught it on Sunday, a friend let me in on her 2-for-1 deal. Saw three other Tammers there, didn't know their forum status.

There was a pretty large group of TAMmers there on Sunday, but pretty much spread out as we'd all bought our tickets separately.

It was a very good show!
 
Agreed! We had a great time and saw forumites here and there. The show was just terrific, very delightful and we'll be talking about it for a long time.
