I'm sure Susan and I will make an appearance some time during the evening. I suspect we'll be bring something along.

I don't mind picking up some booze. What does everyone like?

I was thinking Stoli, Bacardi, Pinot Grigio and a case of beer...?!?
 
Ok, folks - I'll be around starting late Thursday night. If you want to drop stuff off with me, just find me. Otherwise, just bring stuff to the party. I'll communicate the room number out somehow, via posters and announcements so keep your eyes and ears open.

Folks helping with music, can you try to find me before Saturday night so we can coordinate?

I think we'll have Internet at the hotel so I'll be checking my PMs etc.

Also, someone just asked about dress code. It's a party, there will be photos, and I always encourage people to look their sexiest because I like seeing sexy people. Last year, people were all over the map.

The Bacardi you mentioned previously sounds great.

For those who like/must drink non-alcoholic beverages, please advise. GG, no chicken ripple ice cream or porcupine pie, I'm afraid.

btw- I am in room 212 at the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS.
 
OK folks, I can official confirm that moving between the host hotel and the party hotel is not a dangerous exercise. I've already been back and forth a few times and have not suffered any shin splints, blisters or annoying chaffing.

We're in one of the suites and it looks like the size should be just fine for the party. And as a bonus, the suites are set at the far end of the hallway and do not share walls with any other rooms (at least that's how it is on our floor). In other words, normal party noise should not disturb any of the neighbors... just remember to be polite and quiet while going to and from the party room. It's open season in the elevators, though.
 
It looks like the party was pretty much wrapped up around 12:15, when the cops showed up. Ottle and I had just walked out, when three cops (two in uniform, one in Buccaners sweatshirt) walked up. "Good timing" one of them muttered.

We stood off to the side to make sure they didn't start cold-cocking people with those big flashlight things, but it all ended peacefully.

Not sure who had 12:15 in the pool.
