Maybe in a side room?
There were several podcasts last year in the side rooms. So, it probably won't be something the general TAM goer can attend.
Maybe in a side room?
Yeah, there are three rooms down the end of the hallway near the rest rooms that are used for stuff like that. ("Huntington", "Laguna" and "Monarch" if you must know).
One is the "green room" for presenters (usually Laguna), one is a general press room, and usually the other is a podcast recording room. So no, the general public won't be able to attend but you could participate vicariously by watching the USTREAM on your phone from just a few feet away in the pre-function area (aka hallway).
Well if they do it on Sunday I suppose it's possible they could use Sonoma or Napa (where the workshops and lunches are held). There's no lunch provided on Sunday, and workshops that day don't start until later.

No idea if there are discounted tickets yet
Just FYI, this show starts at 9 PM, not 8 (although you do need to be there 30 min. before showtime to keep your guaranteed seat).
has anyone ever actually taken the $8 SP shuttle? when you look at the schedule, it implies that it takes almost 2 hrs to reach the first stop at TI. How is that possible? I would assume they would jump onto the interstate northbound, since they make no stops until they get to the northernmost hotel.
any first hand experience? I have read that if you don't do the TI pickup to head back, the van is usually already full when it stops at City Center and Excalibur.
logically the shuttle would be faster than a city bus northbound, but not if it is somehow dawdling around and taking 2 hrs to make its way to the first stop.
