This looks fun and Thursday afternoon seems to be a good time. The reviews on Yelp are good but it sounds like they almost never have free tickets available and upsell you to the $10 tickets.

Unless I hear spectacular things about Satiristas, I will probably not go either (I mean that's money I could be spending on shuttles!); so, you can put me down as tentative.

Also, I'd bet whatever the Satiristas have to say, your teenager has probably heard (or said) much worse. (Just saying!)

Satiristas wasn't what I thought it was going to be last year. I'd expected something more of an interview / Green Room sort of thing. I'd have watched that, but, instead I saw something better; standup sets from; Billy The Mime, some comic I don't recall, and comic Jamie Kilstein. This year, Doug Stanhope will be there, so I'll be heading to that.

I did opt to buy a ticket for the Sunday Night P&T show at the Rio again... especially with the cheap(er) Travelzoo tickets

THURSDAY

arrive too early to check in. grab shuttle to north end of strip. see whichever show I get there in time for:

1 pm - Mac King
2 - Jeff Civillico
3 - Mac King
4 - Nathan Burton

while I'm up there purchase 3 day bus/deuce pass

head to to SP to check in, change, and head to

7 pm TAM reception

10 pm Absinthe


FRIDAY

7 pm LOVE or Criss Angel whichever I can get to fastest

11 pm Penn's Party


SATURDAY

my "explore the SouthPoint" day. Maybe a spa treatment, pool. The 80s party.

9 pm Carlin show



SUNDAY

7:30 PM - Aretha Franklin @ Ceasars (cheap seats in nosebleed section)


MONDAY

4 pm - Popovich Pet Show

8:45 - last airport shuttle to catch red eye

I plan on lots of bus hopping, walking briskly as possible in flops, and being flexible enough to watch whatever show the bus can get me to on time.

I must strongly suggest you either get to LOVE on time or do anything other than see Criss Angel. I have yet to meet someone who even thought his show was tolerable. Other than that, good plan for the weekend!
