Syria and UN Security Council Decision

It's your claim, you posted it.

Maybe it is Al Qaeda who are responsible for those bombings, they are present in Iraq, so it's not a big stretch of the imagination that they might have crossed over to cause even more mayhem. What I have a problem with is you claim it as fact, with no evidence.

SPIEGEL has an exclusive interview with the King of Bahrain, or shall we say the King of Hypocrites?

Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa has called on Syrian President Bashar Assad to listen to his people. Hamad, who put down an uprising in his own country a year ago, told SPIEGEL that he regretted the events but had to intervene to stop the violence and protect women.

He called in the Saudi army to protect women.

You can roll your eyes all you want, you're the one who keeps providing rubbish evidence.

Usually, one shouldn't be able to easily tell the political ideology of a professional and objective journalist.

Every link that you provided comes from like-minded activists, they all share the same politics which they openly promote, it is at the forefront. Every one of them is linked to the other, in some way or another, they obviously form a clique, a circle of friends who refer to each other. They don't research or report on facts (you know, what journalism is about), they promote an ideology.

Maybe it's a conspiracy? :D

Nobody is forcing you to click on my links, you have the hypno tube 24/7 available to get the constant streamline of propaganda. Or read the agency newstickers.

I guess what bothers you so much is that here we are in 2012 and you are asking me for evidence that the mainstream media reports are correct that Al Qaeda is responsible for some gruesome terrorist attacks. Isn't that ironic?

We never were at war with Oceania. ;)

Maybe it's a conspiracy?

If anything it's a conspiracy of one, you're the one reading and choosing the same references. You're the one stuck in a loophole, brainwashing yourself and reading the same sources that only reinforce your beliefs.

There are no conspiracies of one. And the connection you see with this sources is mainly based on the fact that they are all not welcome in the corporate media and have to use alternative outlets. Escobar, Meyssan and Phelan for example were and are there, on the ground, doing real investigative reporting. Unembedded, that's their crime. Edmonds heads a whistleblower coalition and has many high-level sources who are also openly supportive of her. WSWS, the article i've posted is a collection of articles from the corporate media glued together with some context. Don't forget the catholic bishop and the mother from Syria. All this stuff, the general picture, is also corroborated by reporting from diverse non-english language media.

It's you who is stuck in a loophole.

What's rubbish is being lied to over and over again and accepting it instead of searching for outlets which are more committed to the truth.

Nothing says "comitted to truth" like the foreign propaganda wings of a KGB-Mafia state and an Islamic theocracy.

Don't you find it odd, Childlike, that every "journalist" you link to share the same political ideology? Ever stopped and wondered why that is?

My sources of information are Radio-Canada, CNN, Reuters, Associated Free Press, Amnesty International, just to name a few. You can't possibly say they all share the same ideology, heck, one can't tell what ideology each individual journalist has (unless they do editorials).

Escobar, Meyssan and Phelan for example were and are there, on the ground, doing real investigative reporting.

And it's a coincidence that they all know eachother, support one another, share the same far-left socialist ideology, believe and promote the same conspiracy theories, and all have worked for Iranian state-sponsored PressTV?

What exactly is controversial about this?

Every news outlet is reporting the same thing.

I wasn't trying to be controversial, but rather give an update of the situation as of todays meeting of the Arab League, Syria's reaction to the League

The suicide bombing attacks in Damascus certainly appear now to be the work of al-Qaeda.

What evidence do you have.

Al-Zawahiri says alot of things, his video appearance is no proof of anything. He's an opportunist, he'll jump on anything.

What evidence do I have that they appear to be the work of al-Qaeda?

The evidence is those who are now saying that it appears to be al-Qaeda.

Al-Qaida's branch in Iraq carried out two recent terrorist attacks in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and was likely responsible for the bombings in Aleppo on Friday that killed at least 28 people, McClatchy reported, citing U.S. officials.

U.S. intelligence reports were said to show that the Syria bombings were ordered by al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, seemingly verifying Syrian President Bashar Assad's assertions of al-Qaida involvement in the uprising in Syria.

Unless the officials are fake or they are lying or the intelligence reports which, alas, I don't have access to are being misread then US intelligence now assumes that al-Qaeda were behind the suicide bombings in Damascus. My claim that this appears to be the case is not even up for discussion. It does appear to be the case.

Funny how Childlike claims America supports Al-Qaeda when she supports Iran, who's number one export is Islamic terrorism.

Ya gotta admit, that's funny, I don't care who you are.

But I think the preposition you need is "for" rather than "in" since the King of Bahrain cannot call in the Saudi Army to protect Syrian women.

Nor could he call them in to protect Bahrain women, but he could ask the King of Saudi Arabia to do that.

Recommend an ice pack, CE, for the bruising.

So does AQ exist or does it not?

You've spent so many years and energy denying their attacks all over the world, now that you need them to exist you look like a fool and a hypocrite.

Now suddenly you value reports from US officials, whilst before you denied them wholesale.

Indeed another biased and ideologically motivated "journalist". She also works for Press TV, the Iranian controlled news outlet.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lizzie_Phelan

Let's add her to Chldlike's long list of unreliable sources. Sibel Edmonds, Thierry Meyssan, PressTV, Russia Today, Pepe Escobar, World Socialist Website... always the same clique of ideologues.

That's putting it lightly. These individuals are not sources of information. They are not, despite any tortured efforts to twist reality, "reporters". They are professional propagandists.

One might as well turn to Joesph Goebbels regarding the history of the 12 tribes.
