No, he's suggesting that if you eliminate carbs from your diet, it won't make a difference at all if you still consume a lot of calories. It's this little thing called sarcasm.
The Don said:In the UK we're up in arms because we've discovered that the fried chicken and dressing in a salad means that it has more (k)calories than a gajillion burgers.
For a less extreme assessment look here http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/news/index.asp?id=110645&D=22&M=4&Y=2004 where they say that a salad has 554kcal and a Big Mac, large fries, large cola and McFlurry ice cream with Smarties has 1,458kcal
Kellogg's, criticised for the high sugar content of some of its cereals, is also offering pedometers to consumers of Special K.

I did this diet for nearly 3 months, with excercise thrown in, in addition to working at McDonalds'. I stayed around 130 lbs the whole time I was working at McDonalds, which proves that it is possible to eat almost exclusively there and not gain any weight, as long as one also adds in Vegitables and Fruit when possible and lots of excercise.
Of course, that was when I was going through puberty at the time so I guess its expected for males to eat insane amounts of food and not necessary gain weight.
