they can´t even give you a map of Earth.
if you point the big problems with their map model (like me pointing out that Australians and Brazilians can see the Southern Cross at the SAME INSTANT while both look south), they claim "nobody claimed it´s a precise model" or "I didn´t give any map".
then you ask a precise model and they say "we don´t have one, the ones who have it, like NASA, hide it from everybody else"![]()
That's pretty much what I was going to say. The thing is, you don't need exact distances to prove how laughably false the zetetic flat earth model is. If the sun circles directly over the equator on an equinox, then all you have to do is note that in the zetetic model, an observer on the equator on that day would see the sun at a compass heading of 45° at 6:00 am. In reality, of course, the sun is seen at a compass heading of 90° at that time. And the shadow of a ping pong ball atop a one meter wood dowel would trace a curved line starting in the south-west, passing directly under the ball, then finishing in the south-east. But in reality, such a shadow will trace a straight line starting due west, passing under the ball, and finishing due east. And that just scratches the surface of the problems with the zetetic model.
Modern flat-earth belief is just a gnostic cult for people who want to think that they are among a small intellectual elite who see the truth about the universe. They are, however, perfect examples of the Dunning-Kruger effect. They don't realize just how uninformed and dull-witted their argument show them to be. If they could perform the simple math to disprove their flat-earth beliefs, they wouldn't be flat-earth believers.
