Can one of the flat earth suckersbelievers give me their information on how far away the Sun is?

Bearing in mind that people all over the globe bounce radio waves off of the Moon and verify it is the distance claimed, that it provably passes in front of the Sun during an eclipse, I expect an answer of at least Lunar distance But whatever, once the laughter has died down, I will show you, using a very simple diagram and some dead simple maths, that it cannot be as close as the flat earth suckersbelievers claim.

They also cannot explain how, when you travel to Antarctica (and I have) that the Sun travels around the horizon and remains above the horizon 24/7 for at least several weeks, while at the same time, a person in The Arctic does not see the Sun at all over that same period.

I have put this to a number of flat earth suckers believers over the years, and not one of them has ever been able to come up with an answer, or at least, one that didn't totally break all their other ridiculous explanations.

Easy to answer: If Earth does not orbit the Sun, then the Sun orbits the Earth. It does so in 24 hours. Thus the distance must be 35,786 kilometres (22,236 mi)

Not sure, as I haven't been in this thread for a while, why it concerns only the south pole.
I have been to several places above the Arctic Circle, including Alert at the northern end of Ellesmere island. I can testify to 24 darkness and 24 hour daylight. I was also present at Alert on March 21. The 20th the sun never fully rose above the horizon, on the 21st it did and never went back down.

In Mould Bay on Prince Patrick Island a few years earlier, the sun began poking a bit over the horizon at local apparent noon, beginning about Feb. 10. By March 21 it was up 24 hr/day. Its a bit odd to go for a ride down the airstrip at 2 am in bright sunshine.

Oh, and where I am now, sunset is at 9:25 PM (sunrise around 5:30AM), while in December it will be closer to 3:45PM(sunrise closer to 8AM)
