Over what time span and what about non syrian refugees? USA has already taken in over 1,000 syrians and agreed to take in 10,000 next year. We take about 70K refugees per year and this has been increased to 100K in midst of current crisis. Based on some rough math the per capita refugee quota for USA is about 1.5-2x that of New Zealand, but keep sitting on your high horse.

Wouldn't it be a hole lot easier if the US only took Christian refugees or non religious refugees? They would be much much easier to integrate then Muslims.

Let Muslim nations take the Muslim refugees and majority christian nations take the christian refugees.

Problem solved.

Religious prejudice is no better then racial prejudice.
And you might be shocked on how little Syrian Christians,in looks,dress,etc differ from Syrian Muslims.
And,as far as security goes, you are telling me ISIS does not have the smarts to train it's operatives to pass for Christians, and provide them with the forged documents to prove it?
 
Of course that bigotry against Muslims is just doing ISIS a HUGE favor is beyond some people.
