[Split]Physics of collision and collapse - split from: Offer to the Truth Movement: L

Well I'm certainly confused as to why you think that is relevant to the collapse,it isn't even relevant to the impacts. You might want to read up on the difference between an elastic and an inelastic collision.
.
People that don't have a clue about physics are easy to confuse.

The speed lines in the second code section of this post show the velocities before and after impacts in three different mass distributions.

It's called the conservation of momentum. The only math of any complexity is the quadratic equation used to compute the time to the next impact so the new velocity due to free fall can be computed.

Physicists and engineers feel that you don't have the slightest idea of what you're talking about. You feel that your "special" knowledge trumps everything these professionals learned over years of hard work. Explain what you know that they don't. Tell us how you learned it.

Well your first problem is that you have not tried using a more realistic distribution of masses. WTC1 has a falling mass of, say, 16 floors, falling onto a mass of 1 floor. Then 17 floors falling together onto 1 floor. The difference in mass from floor to floor is negligible, realistically.

When I ran the same program in Matlab using 94 floors (below) and your value of 32 ft/s^2 for g, I got a total fall time of approximately 11.5 seconds. As a calculation purely of conservation of momentum, this is conservative since it does not account for any mass leaving the "falling bodies".
