So, who's going to Dragon*Con this year?! (not me :( )

I think that it is a reasonable question to ask you if you witnessed what you reported to us, or if you are reporting what Rebecca and Amy reported to you.

My post had nothing to do with Sarah, or with "hating" Rebecca or the Skepchicks, despite your strawman argument. I was simply questioning your post.

What I gather from the sidelines is there is some sort of rift between Sarah Mayhew and the Skepchicks. Apparently she isn't doing feminism "right", or whatever. Which makes her a gender traitor or a tone troller or cisgendered or....something. All it means to me is.....cat fight!!! Meow!!!

Also, through all of this, keep in mind that Drama Drives Traffic(TM).

This is simply being rude and attacking the questioner, by implying that we "want to hate Rebecca", that we have a "dislike of the Skepchicks", and that we are irrational.

The Skepchicks are telling one story, and another person (Mayhew) claims to have an eyewitness report of an incompatible story. You attacked that other person as well, which is how this subthread started.

If you are going to reflexively attack anyone who questions the official Skepchick narrative on a forum for skeptics, without providing any proper evidence for your attacks, you should not be the least bit surprised that people are skeptical of your impartiality and your accuracy.

I'm not necessarily requesting that you supply more detail though. There's not much point because i would tend to disbelieve you due to your evasive presentation. Plus, it's quite clear you're invested to the point of irrationality.
 
Well, anyway, as great as Burning Man was, I would like to get back to Dragon Con, now. So, I will officially announce, here that:

Wowbagger will Return to Dragon Con in 2014!

...and I will likely return to Burning Man in 2015. After that, I will see how I feel about continuing to alternate between the two, from then on.

I will be booking my hotel room and flight real soon. And, I don't care if Rebecca Watson will be there, or not!!

Form an organization called Rebecca Watson Wants Me. Then you can get a fan table and sell posters, pictures, tea cozies, Mr. Pinkies, et al... as long as they're emblazoned with Rebecca Watson Wants MeTM. Maybe you could try it out in Springfield.
