I will repeat, as, sadly, I must always, that my claim that a discharge from a pellet gun loaded with birdshot can kill tens of thousands of people is not supported by photos showing the effects of an atomic bomb. What a fire chief can do in regard to clearing the debris of a small structure has no relevance whatever to the options the FDNY had in dealing with the imminent collapse of WTC 7. No one can prep a massive skyscraper for demolition in matter of hours, especially while it's burning!

Nigro stated that he ordered an evacuation around 2 PM. Hayden stated that the operation was finished by 3:30. You left yourself no outs.

You bizarrely linked to an article discussing the use of a backhoe to remove debris from a 2-story wooden structure. Presumably, you intended some sort of analogy with WTC 7, but no analogy makes sense.
