None of them are garbage, including the 2nd Amendment. Not going to change here for a very, very long time. Like it or not.

You argue that the Constitutional guarantees of inalienable rights, such as the right to speech, religion, to vote, to require a warrant and probable cause, are all fake. Nonsense.

No , I didn't. Never said such a thing, and for a reader to think that they'd have to be profoundly stupid or profoundly dishonest.

For political/optical reasons, no, there won't be any major changes. But just like the State will merrily forfeit your individual rights from Life and right on down, under any of a dozen guises, the teeth of our "inalienable" rights can and for damn sure will be summarily de-toothed as needed.

I'd say not for any reasons. If Trump is elected, then yeah there will be an effort. Then we have SCOTUS which right now seems sort of iffy.

Congress? Well your guess is as good as anybody else's come Election Day 2024.

Spare us the Woke nonsense. All persons in the USA have various inalienable rights, according to the US Constitution.

So, the Founders didn't put restrictions like race, gender, and financial status on those rights?

15th Amendment guarantees the right to vote regardless of race, collectively.

According to the false logic being spewed here, individual black people can be denied the right to vote due to their race.

19th Amendment guarantees the right to vote regardless of sex, collectively.

According to the false logic being spewed here, individual women can be denied the right to vote due to their sex.

Those amendments specifically say "citizens", not "the people" or "the citizenry".

Ask any Trumper and they'll tell you EXACTLY what the Constitution says. Probably wrong because the little-known 19th Amendment is you can shoot guys in the dick, if you feel threatened.

Okay, no more Trump jokes for about a couple more hours.

Tell this guy. Maybe he doesn't realize that of the 27 Amendments, 14 came after the Founders had all died.

The Founding Fathers added some individual rights in the Bill of Rights. They applied to all persons in the USA.

Who's arguing with the Bill of Rights?

So far the 3rd Amendment has served me well, had no military taking quarters in my home without permission. Mind you, it's a time of peace.

Someone here is arguing that the Bill of Rights only applied rights collectively, not to individual persons in the USA. 1st Am, 2nd Am, 4th Am, did not apply any rights to individual persons, they argue. Some are also arguing that the rights recognized in the Bill of Rights are meaningless, void, nonsense.

That is a lie. You have posted a lie. You are a liar. Please stop.

Pointing out that inalienable is being misconstrued is not negating the Rights.

Nothing is actually inalienable. All rights can have the living **** alienated out of them in different circumstances.

That's only till Canada gets sick of our **** and invades. Then your house is going to be declared Club Med for the military under martial law, imminent domain, manifest destiny, civil forfeiture or some such ****.
