You can't condemn North Korea. You can't acknowledge the capitalist South is superior without shattering your worldview.

These poll results that Prager cites are contradicted by Pew Research Center poll results from 2008-2010:

So what accounts for Prager's 2002 poll in which two thirds of respondents said they had a negative view of the US?

The Yangju highway incident also known as the Yangju training accident or Highway 56 Accident, occurred on June 13, 2002 in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. A United States Army armored vehicle returning to base in Uijeongbu on a public road after training maneuvers in the countryside struck and killed two 14-year-old Korean girls, Shin Hyo-sun (신효순) and Shim Mi-seon (심미선).

The US soldiers involved were found not guilty of negligent homicide in the court martial, further inflaming Korean passions. The memory of the two schoolgirls is commemorated annually in South Korea.

Either Prager is ignorant of this incident and its likely knock-on effect on an opinion poll conducted the same year, in which case his opinion is pretty worthless, or else he is a lying propagandistic scum-bag cherry-picking data points that he know isn't an accurate reflection of the real situation, in which case his opinion is worthless.

I don't think this is true. There are almost 30,000 members of the US military still in South Korea and they are a noticeable presence in certain parts of Seoul and elsewhere.

You can argue about whether the US presence is a good thing or a bad thing but to argue that it doesn't exist in any meaningful sense is false.

The other bits I was not joking about is that Prager gives a heavily distorted view of the situation. In effect Prager's argument is emotional rather than rational and he's using that tired old extortion rhetoric of "How dare you be so ungrateful? Maybe we should just let the local bullies sort you out, eh? Then where would you be, eh?"

North Korea is inferior. By any possible way you could measure. Perhaps you're interpreting that to mean that the people of North Korea are inherently inferior. They're not. The country is a craphole because of Kim Jon-il and his father.

i think it is the worst country to be in. Even Somalia is a better place , even atm.

but i just have trouble with the word. in german it makes me remind of the terms Nazis used. In german it mean of less value, worth less. and we are still talking of humans, and a huge part of that group is hostage to their government.
 
North Korea as a state is inferior. The North Korean government, economy and general HDI are inferior. North Korean people are not.
 
I've met many North Koreans in my time and I liked all of them. They are just people trying to get by in the way that the rest of us are.

The government that rules North Korea is an absolute despicable disgrace, however. Down with those bastards!!!

I will give my not so humble opinion and facts on these Asian matters in no particular order (been heavily interested since a kid)

Ok history does repeat it self it is not a cliche but a fact of life.

1. In event of all out war China WILL back N.Korea especially against counterparts that support "entities" of a non-Asian region

2. The French, or Spain, nor anyone else held the USA's hand after our revolution from tyranny S.Korea should be allowed to stand on their own.

3.China is mad at Japan and Russia over stupid lil island with oil under it

4.China is mad at USA and Russia over arms sales to various countries and "entities" within the Asian region

5.China is mad USA because USA plans to send over LEET carrier force with super awesome stealth drone attack jets that look like mini-me B-2 bombers that are going to be operating around Tawain

6.China and (Phillipines?) are mad at each other over rights to a particular body of water (sea) in the region

7.N.Korea is controlled by super crazy man that thinks he and his son are living gods and they h8t everyone except China (N.Korea and China been having super cozy relationship meetings as of l8t and giving each other courtesy wraparounds)

8.Russia is now officially "King of the North" because they take North pole and no one even cares or most possibly no one wants to fight them right now.

9.Russia's birth rate is really gonna suck in the future so if they were ever gonna do anything it will be sooner than l8r

10.West is tied up in a bunch of wars right now and we are getting really really broke and need more robots, bombs, and boots on the ground really, really fast if we gonna win this shyt and get all the LEET Loot PVP style

11.China is now mad at USA more because we talk to Dhali Llama and China is selfish and wants all the Llamas for themselves cuz they super greedy

12.USA owes China tons and tons of money n loot and the Chinese repo man prolly not gonna be nice guy when he finally comes around


SO BASICALLY. We in a bit of a pooperswaggle but it's ok because it is supposed to happen this way.

Go S.Korea! Kick N.Korea's evil butts and hopefully most of the brainwashed N.Koreans see the truth but I doubt it.


Also Bikerdruid guy prolly isn't a terrorist but more like a terrorist sympathizer guy. Hopefully if terrorist approached him and said I have secret super plan to rule the world he would be smart enough to see through the BS and not drink terror koolaid.

But if terrorist said it had shrooms in it then he might would, but hopefully not.
