And the photo with the "A" from "American Airlines" on it. The photos of the bodies. The photos of parts that were once said to be engine components of a cruise missile which were later matched to a schematic diagram from an airliner and identified as compressor parts.

The evidence for an airliner hitting the pentagon is massive. Just because National Geographic didn't pore over every single piece of supporting evidence doesn't give any other theories with zero evidence (cruise missile theories) any more weight.

Massive? And did someone say something about a missile here? I think what RedIbis was trying to point out was that if the evidense really was massive then maybe the show could have shown much more than just one photo that didn't even come out until much after 9/11 happened.

So, we were supposed to get th pictures of the Pentagon in flames and collapsing BEFORE it happened!! HOLY SNIKEYS BATMAN!!!

That's the problem with all you true believers: you're absolutists. You can't distinguish relatively. Because of heat convection, sound will be focused up, along the convection gradient. Think of it like wind. Upwind and shout, and your voice carries. Downwind and the carry is pitiful. Some sound carries, but it is muted. Like the sound from Van Romero's small, strategically placed explosives 800ft up.

LOL! So sound isn't carried by a convection current? What is a convection current except a systematic displacement of particles along a specific temperature gradient? An aggregate displacement will affect the sum particular interaction. Sound is particular interaction, hence no sound in a vacuum. Aggregate displacement in one direction will cause sound displacement. Like shouting into a strong wind. Upwind, you won't hear a thing. Downwind and the sound travels for miles. Heat, in effect, produces wind.

You know how most truthers will claim that the sound of the buildings collapsing covered up the sound of the explosives going off? atavisms has taken this to a new and even more insane level by claiming that the sound of the collapses were the sound of the explosives going off.

The sounds? A Massive roar for 15 seconds..Thousands of explosions blurring into one prolonged event.

Which is that, it was thousands of explosions going off over a 15 second period on 9/11 created an extended, very loud, roar [...]
