I noticed you put civilian in singular. So that means you can answer your own question.

When it's not random and is not being done to force political change. How is blowing up civilian NOT terrorism?![]()
I noticed you put civilian in singular. So that means you can answer your own question.
When it's not random and is not being done to force political change.
So how many civilians have to die before it can be you will deign to class it as terrorism?
And, considering this WAS done to force political change
Please keep your strawmen and your pathetic pretentions of telepathy to yourselfI think the only definition for terror in your minds is simply when "they" do it.
It certainly helps. It's not like Iran had anyone in mind when they blew up a Jewish center in Argentina and killed scores of Jews.Since when is 'random' a definition of terror?
It was? What political change was that? And, considering this WAS done to force political change
Odd you ignore the other criteria.Enlightening to hear that many in the IRA, UVF, Real IRA and LVF are/were not terrorists because they carried out targeted assassinations.
So WC, apart from your own hamfisted assertions, can you please provide a definition of "terror" that defines it as being dependent on being a random act? Or are you talking from beyond the sphincter again?
I fail to see why this is so complicated. The moral difference between this assassination and, say, blowing up a bus of schoolchilren in Tel Aviv is quite clear. Those who blow up the schoolbus do it in order to implement a genocide of the Jews; those who blew up the Iranian scientist did it to prevent a genocide of the Jews. It's like the moral difference between the deaths in the Nazi concentration camps and the deaths caused by the RAF bombings.
Harder to get it to the target. Why did cyanide go out of style? Much less collateral damage than an explosion -.-
Odd you ignore the other criteria.
