Yes. But why? He lost last time he cannot seriously think he can win this time and going into violent opression mode before you have to is not a great move.
violent opression mode?
what did he do?
Yes. But why? He lost last time he cannot seriously think he can win this time and going into violent opression mode before you have to is not a great move.
The author is obviously highly biased. Can anyone read Spanish enough to see what this article is saying (linked above)? http://nuevaprensa.com.ve/content/view/10006/2
Its a simple question. Yes or no.
So grabbing people land from not rich people and giving it to the the poor is fair?
Yes and yes. I do not think it is good for him to rely so heavily on oil as the recent prices drop shows. Also he has let the oil production fall in thelast few years by meddling in the oil industry there.
Heres another. You very hypocritically have a usernmame that calls Cheney a dictator yet cry in here like the other JREF chavistas when Chavez is compared to a dictator.
Is Bush and Cheney seeking to extend their terms? If they did what would the chavistas in here say?
Was Mr Chavez attempted coup when he was in the military acceptable and is this the hypocrisy when he rails against the failed coup against him?
Should he be held responsible for the deaths caused by his attempted coup?
violent opression mode?
what did he do?
There is no way he's going to get the consistution changed legitimately. If he thinks he can get it changed that looks like he is ready to use some previously unused tactics.
What are the details od that law?
before i dont now those i cant tell if it is fair or not.
DC said:I would like to see if the US people are dumb enough to vote for Bush again.
DC said:aslong they have to be elected, i have no problem with it.
DC said:A violent coup, like Chavez attempt in the 90s is not acceptable i think.
Lucky he did change his mind and did not resign.
DC said:the last elections showed that this is also what the majority of Venezuelans want. omly 55% of the people voted against the new constitution.I see that not as a reason to resign.
DC said:Bushs poll numbers was never reasson for bush to step down.
DC said:aslong the Venezuelans mostly vote for Chavez, i thiink i can stay president so many terms the venezuelans vote him into office.
Eehm Putin is a special case.
its not a simple question that can be answered with yes or no.
like Juan Barreto in 2006, caracas, he also took away land from 2 golfclubs
to build houses on it. because caracas has not enough houses.
DC said:Do you think the opposition is handling it fair? they use violence to get quit the people that occupy houses.
When poor people occupy a house since 20 years. what would you do?use violence to get them out of the houses? or take the house and let them live there?
and about Banks, i have no problem with Nationalised banks.
Now its like when they make profit they have a nice live. when they get into troubles, we will pay for theyr losses etc.
So Nationalize them.
DC said:Did you know that Chavez also took the Cement manufacturer from Mexico, cemex? My competitor Holcim did agree to sell theyr Venezuelan factory, so did others. Not sure what Nestle did, sell or did they got taken away the factory?
that is a point about Chavez that i dont like so much.
I like Nationalisation of alot things, but most companys should stay in private hands, but have a good restricted market to prevent explotation of workers etc. I kinda like the Jugoslavian system, where the factory belonged to the people that worked there.
You could look it up
They did re-elect him once. Its not the fact that they would or would not its the fact that there would be outcry by the chavistas on here if he tried. You are the one who has Dictator in your username.
Its been voted against yet he tries to have another vote.
Should he be held accountable for the deaths then? He held the TV station accountable. What kind of person carries out a coup yet slams other for trying it? A hypocrite?
That is not what I said or what Chavez said. He said he would step down at the end of his term after the constituion was denied and now he has gone back on this to try and stay in power. Again, what if Cheney and Bush did this Dictator Cheney?
They voted against the constitution and he said he would listen to the people but he then trioes to get a vote on something they have just voted against. I believe it was 51% was it not? I never said he should resign, your poor english is hampering you again.
What are you wittering about? End of term DC, end of term.
This is not even a bad attempt at english it is terrible. Please explain.
yes, it is.
Someone who owns golf courses is not working class generally.
Again explain.
What are you wittering about here? You are making no sense.
All of them?
No I did not know that. What i do know is that he is harming the oil industry there. Output is down and he does not know what he is doing. His economy relies on it so much he is making grave mistakes. If you want to see how an oil industry should work for the country look at the Norway model. The UK one is a mess.
My main problem is that he is a hypocrite and he is failing the country due to an overwhelming need to goad the US. He should ignore them and reign in his ego a bit and concentrate on domestic issues rather than stomp around on the world stage. He is a proven criminal who served time for an attempted coup yet is defended when he punished the TV station by falsely accusing them of being orchestrators of the coup against him.
you brought it up, it is uppseting you so much, i asumed that you would read it already and know alot details about it. but seems like im wrong, you know no details about it.
DC said:No outcry from me, my outcry would come when the US people reelect him![]()
DC said:the Venezuelans voted against the new Constitution, the removing of term limits was only a very small part of the new constitution.
DC said:In my oppinion he should find out what points the Venezuelans did not like in his new constitution, change them and let vote for it again.
DC said:eerm actually one of the guys that was part of the coup in 2002 is running in the opposition.
DC said:was Chavez left alone after his vailed coup attempt in the 90s? Or what happened after the failed coup?
again, no problem with Cheney/Bush running again.
when they get reelected, well then it is the will of the US people.
Dc said:But i doubt that anyone will want to change the US constitution.
DC said:again, removing term limits was only a small point in the whole constitution.
DC said:when the poeple of venezuela alow him to run again as president, i have no problem with it. no mather how many time you bring it up, no mather how much it is scaring you.
DC said:aslong the Venezuelan people vote him into office i have no problem, no mather how many times he is running. Its up to the people of Venezuela to decide that.
So you sure can tell me the details about it, isnt it? Or bring up some examples, like i did.I do know about it because I have been told by the venezuelan people about it and read about it. Do your own work DC.
I very much doubt that.
Yet, he said he would go with the will of the people and is now going back on that.
How many votes does he need on the same thing? If they throw it out again he will try again.
And? Do you think I support him?
He was jailed for a couple of years. Less than you get for distributing soft drugs over here.
why dont you bring up some cases of condemnation that you think are unfair?
im sure you can find some cases. cant you?
Yes, yes, sure you would not comment on it negatively. Your name shows this to be a smokescreen.
many would like to.
You are avoiding the point. He said he would listen to the will of the people and then when they showed their will he said he would serve his term and stand down as called for by law. Then he changes and says he will have another vote and will not stand down.
It scares my friends not me. Again you avoid the point.
And they voted against him standing again.
I'm afraid my friends are not interested debating Chavistas on JREF. They have other things to worry about. You are too lazy to look up the law yet you expect me to give you examples?
I gave you some with the blacklist which you did not even know about, how does that make you look as a supporter of Chavez? I did not get my info on this from internet or biased media or pro chavez stuff. I got it from people who are from that country. You were ignorant of it, how does it make you feel about Chavez now?
