Let me catch my breath. I'm sure he knows something about Jimmy Hoffa, too.
Welcome, Mr. Farrant. I realize that it took guts for you to join a Skeptic's Forum and I give you credit for that. I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping that you and Mr. Manchester do not start to bash each other here. But as the Highgate Vampire topic is discussed, I think clarification of certain points will be welcome.
Your membership agreement prohibits the disclosure of personal information about other members; whether or not Myth Buster is Mr. Manchester (and I have no way of knowing that), I ask that you refrain from such activities going forward.

I f I might say something without getting moved, as I cant see what the problem is, Myth Buster will be Manchester. On all the message boards in the past he has always had another name( with one exception) and writes in exactly the same way. It would be ludicrous to believe that Sean Manchester is sitting in his bungalow retreat completely oblivious to what is being said about him. Only he has the knowledge and detailed inside information to answer the posts. He is always hiding behind someone elses identity, nearly always fictitious, which shows what an apology for a man he is. A real man and a real bishop would not skulk behind this "imaginary friend" persona.
Trusting this post does not violate any rules!

First, it is not true that the ICA "used to be the Official Old Catholic Church of the UK." They have never been the Official anything. They have only been in existence for a couple of years or so. Second, it is untrue to say that "the other Old Catholic Churches do not recognsie Manchester." Third, I put your question about the Ad Clerum to the British Old Catholic Church (without mentioning this forum) and their answer to me follows:
Firstly does it matter whether they are official or not official. I am sure that what their original website called them until another member of the Church hijacked the name. Secondly it is not untrue to say the other Old Catholic Churches do not recognise Manchester as we've got all the email evidence that we need. And Third why did you put the question about the Ad Clerum to your allegedly OWN Church. Surely that is ridiculous for so-called evidence.
The ICA has withdrawn its names from the Ad Clerum issued last month. Hence the names "Kemp" and "Scruton" on the Ad Clerum should be ignored. The Independent Old Catholic Church, however, adheres to the Ad Clerum.
Yes and it is true that there is only one other Church the ICOCC which is allegedly supporting you. You name me any others what are.
The Independent Old Catholic Church has ended its concordat and indeed all contact with the ICA. The British Old Catholic Church held no concordat with the ICA. Ecclesia Apostolica Jesu Christi, likewise, has had no concordat with the ICA due to the latter's uncanonical and unscriptural stance on sacerdotal and sacramental matters.
Ecclesia Apostolica Jesu Christi did have a concordat with the ICA. Hence the reason for the Ad Clerum which Manchester quite promptly promoted on all his message boards until the ICA removed their names.
Traditional Old Catholics do not recognise Canon 11 of the ICA's "canon law" which states that women can become priests and bishops. It questions Canon 12 which dictates that "all clergy will conform and obey the laws of the country where they reside." This could result in clergy obeying laws which are in direct conflict with God's Law. Such conflicts have arisen with Communist regimes and are still occurring in some Muslim countries. The ICA also accepts as clergy those in sexual relationships outside the Christian sacrament of marriage (which can only be one man with one woman). Homosexual relationships, therefore, present no bar to ICA clergy and laity. This acceptance on the part of the ICA of non-married persons in the Christian meaning of that word, who are nevertheless sexually active, is against the teachings of Holy Scripture and the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. Bishop Manchester is greatly relieved to discover the removal of the Most Rev'd Phillip R Kemp and the Rev'd Simon Scruton from the Ad Clerum.
Obviously the interviewer was no way sharp enough to deal with Manchesters manouverings and did not pin him down on the facts you have quoted, "Vampire". I too have seen this text and thought the same, in fact, it is infuriating what he got away with--no facts at all--where,when,how,photos,witnesses etc.
For Catherine,
Why should I be the one to take up the James Randi challenge?!?
I am not the one saying that vampires exist!
That is really HIS problem!
For now,
David
Is that all types of vampires or just certain ones. I am just asking to see if you have found evidence of other types than the blood sucking variety.

I opened another thread to discuss Davids beliefs/ findings/ claims.

I think it may be best to keep discussion of Davids position seperate from the discussion of Manchester, as it only clouds both issues.
For clarification, are you saying (a) "He didn't" dress up in a Nazi uniform
or (b) "He didn't" dress up in a Nazi uniform for a supposed factual series of stories on the "Nazi-Occult connection" Thanks in advance.
