That's because he never did. He did say evolution is woo and that an Earth billions of years old is pure theory, so I assume he gets his information from his religious text.

He also said that when the Qur'an mentions that God made the world in six days, a day to God can mean anything, even billions of years, so my point was that if we can't determine what is meant by "a day" in the Qur'an, how can we rely on it for information about the Universe?
