My New Year's wish is that Bush suffers the same fate. He is just as big of a petty dictator than Hussein was.

Well, except for the banning all other political parties, putting all his political opponents in jail, torturing anybody who opposed him in any way, and gassing towns of people he didn't like.

But APART from THAT (and the list could be extended, of course) he is just the same as Hussein.

Whatever any of you say, Hussein was the rightful leader of Iraq.

The USA had no right to invade a soveriegn country that obviously posed no threat to us.

No, not ironic. Necessary. It was important to video the death of Saddam to leave no room for doubt about it. In the US executions are not public, but they are observed by the trusted media. I doubt that the average Iraqi has all that much faith in their media, and rumors would fly if it hadn't been taped.
