I know this. But do you know who was the head oligarch of the corrupt clique know as "Yelzin family", named after the president and his daughter? And brought Putin to power through a vast campaign in his media empire? And who not long after Putin was in power had to flee the country and spent the rest of his life plotting revenge from his UK exile until he finally killed himself? While some of his buddies landed in jail?

They chose someone who didn't intend to be their puppet. That's the whole story of the hatred against VV Putin.

Okay can we forget Berezovsky for a second. He was no saint, and perhaps the British sucked up to him a little too much, but the fact is he was a useful source of intelligence and general info about the Yeltsin family during the 90s.

You're always bringing him into the mix to frame the discussion as "Comrade Putin cleanses the nation of filth", so to speak, but remember a vast number of Putin loyalists could also be charged with the same crimes as Berezovsky and Khodorkovsky. Putin was staging a big show by pointing the finger at unfaithful acquaintances and saying they were corrupt and needed to be gotten rid of. And Putin pardoned Yeltsin. Why couldn't he pardon Berezovsky? :eye-poppi I mean Putin is all about that anti-corruption agenda right?

As to Primakov, you might want to check wikipedia again to understand how he spent the Putin years. They quickly became allies and Primakov was given several important tasks to all (Russian) sides satisfaction until he recently died and Putin held a praising eulogy.

Putin was FSB director. There was never any evidence that Prosecutor Skuratov actually slept with hookers and there was no reason to air that on television. But a lot of people believed that, probably including Primakov.

No, we can't. He was absolutely central to the events you tried to mislead me and the readers about. No wonder you don't want to talk about him. We'll leave it here.

People interested in these historical events should track down the documentary "Rise and Fall of the Russian Oligarchs", made by some "respected" UK TV (ITV?). Should be on youtube and is worth watching.
