Rush Limbaugh's latest:

I think the guy’s wrong. I think not only it was racism, it was justifiable racism. I mean, that’s the lesson we’re being taught here today. Kid shouldn’t have been on the bus anyway. We need segregated buses — it was invading space and stuff. This is Obama’s America.

Then he also calls health care reform "racist." (It should be noted Limbaugh is opposed to hate crime laws.)

The only way to combat someone who is mostly right is find a tidbit where he sounds wrong.

Where is Limbaugh "mostly right"? According to who? About what? Cite some sources.

It also helps to lift something out of context.

What's out of context? Please give some context.

I do not see where he says we really need segregated buses.

Did you listen to it? Limbaugh said, "We need segregated buses..." or with more context "[The] kid shouldn’t have been on the bus anyway. We need segregated buses..."

Nothing to see here, folks.

Except the clown rush limbaugh who seems to spew more hatred then that red slime in ghostbusters 2.

The guy is a joke.

It seems pretty clear that he is not literally calling for segregated buses. He's just using a cheap rhetorical trick. It's still race-baiting, though.

Near as I can tell, the tone was 100% sarcastic.

Even still Rush is anything but tolerant. It seems the most intolerant anoint themselves the crusaders for righteousness when in reality they're anything but. Rush would be the first to claim racism as was the case with Sonia Sotomayor but prove where his interest lie with the various statements he makes. It's obvious it only concerns him when it effects white America rather then American proper.

The problem is Rush has made so many over the top statments that it is hard to tell when he is being Sarcastic and when he is playing to his audience....

But Rush is playing the race card, and has been for years.

For example, he was being sarcastic when he made the comments about Donovan McNabb. He was fired because of politics, and persecution, and his enemies going on a campaign to destroy him, and because of the smear merchants...

oh wait, smear merchants are when Bill O'Reilly is being persecuted. My mistake.

And Kanye West was being sarcastic when he said W doesn't care about black people.

Interestingly, this pretty much describes the whole of Rush Limbaugh's bag-o-tricks, and is practically the foundation of the Tea Party's movement (well, that along with the birther and anti-fed conspiracies). It also happens to be the only trick Glenn Beck seems able to perform.

Oh c'mon. Only trick? Mr. Beck can also cry on command.

I have yet to meet a Rush fan that is not a racist. Not just a bigot, but a racist. He's playing to his audience.

Why, oh why do people assume that just because I'm white and I'm a southerner, that I want to hear that crap all of the time? Can't stand Rush, and don't want to hear your racist jokes and politics...

So, why is Limbaugh, Beck and even O’Riely are gaining in popularity and few liberal pundits (like Larry King) can make it in the free market of communications?

Is that the best you can do ?

Post an obviously sarcastic statement as if this is actually Limbaugh's position ?
Par for the course for the Rush haters, right up there with assuming that anything attributed to him by a liberal source is true. There is a lot he says that I don't agree with, but the tactics used against him are laughably transparent.
