Rush Limbaugh has a heart attack?

Maybe it's only gall bladder problems, brought on by the diet?

Or small heart attack, fixable by a twenty minute angioplasty. Or a worse set of clogs, needing a bypass.

I think we would have heard if he was dead by now. Eliminate the sudden death heart attacks, and he's probably going to recover.

And the sad thing is if this were Michael Moore and the conservatives were making these snide remarks, some of the people making the remarks about Limbaugh would be the most outraged.
Frankly, I think the claim by people on the Left that those on the Left are somehow automatically more compassionate and tolerent then those on the Right is a bunch of crap. Hard line ideologues, whether Left or Right, hate and would love to silence those who disagree with them .
I can't stand Limbaugh , but this hoping he will dies is really over the top. And I don't EVER want to see those posting this stuff getting outraged if someone on the other side says simliar things about someone on the Left.
The Hypocrisy is staggering.

No, Undesired Walrus summed it up nicely. And I think you are just playing games here to be clever.

In my lifetime, I've seen no shortage of people on the left who decry fascism, and overzealous religious types, because of their desire to kill people and clamp down harshly on dissent, all in the name of advancing their own point of view.

Anyone who fights against that, who goes so far as to suggest that it's ok to kill someone, or wish them dead, because of their views, is doing exactly the thing they accuse the other side of. It's absolutely no different. That's my point.

It's not an open admission that the right feels that way. It's saying "Let's say I grant that mindset for the sake of argument...how are you behaving any better?". It's your side that makes those claims. I'm suggesting a lack of consistency.

I'm suggesting that what you decry is exactly what many of you engage in.

Many on the left clearly live with the attitude that the ends do in fact justify the means, and that two wrongs do in fact make a right.

I must be insensitive. My government ordered me to kill people that were much less disgusting than Rush. Wishing people dead is your patriotic duty, should you be lucky enough to "serve".

Wishing or praying is a joke here, right? Why want it both ways? Have no belief in the effectiveness of our wishes and prayers, yet be aghast at that, too, as if they really did have power.

In general, our collective morality is almost entirely self-serving or non-existent.

I pray that Rush becomes just like me. How's that for insidious, powerless bluster?
It washes easier, as per offensive emotional out-bursts...but on the eternal spiritual level, it would be much more manipulative and evil.

Fortunately, we don't believe in any of that funky stew.

Why does everything have to always be "the Left", "the Right", "the other side"? It's not about some petty political disagreement, it's about spouting hatred to millions of people over the airwaves. If anyone on "the Left" does the same I'll be similarly unsympathetic. Not that I wish Limbaugh any harm, personally, I really don't care either way.
