What a bunch of miserable scum-suckers several of the liberal posters on this thread are.

No need to say "liberal posters." We get similar "wish they would die" or "glad they're dead" threads for conservatives, liberals, entertainers... whatever. It's just a bad practice, in my opinion regardless of the political leaning of the people on either side of these exchanges.

So I don't wish death or suffering upon Rush, but perhaps the ill will towards him might give him pause in the future when considering making fun of someone else's disease.

I was just playing stand up comedian, and you tossed me a good straight-man line. I was a bit stunned that it was taken (by the mods, evidently) as very poorly considered.
