RSL in hospital

Best wishes to both of you, with the hope that he'll soon be back with you, and then back to his marvelous job with SSB.

With apologies to Martin Gore/Depeche Mode, here's a song SB should hear when RSL is mentioned:

Your own personal watchdog
Someone that checks you up
Someone who cares
Your own personal watchdog
Someone that checks you up
Someone who's there

Feeling unknown
And you're all alone
Nail and bone
By the telephone
Lift up the receiver
He’ll make you a griever

Make one more guess
He’ll put you to test
Things on your chest
You need to confess
He will deliver
You know he’s a big river

Reach out and touch truth
Reach out and touch truth

Your own personal watchdog…

Feeling unknown
And you're all alone
Flesh and bone
By the telephone
Lift up the receiver
He’ll make you a griever

He will deliver
You know he’s a big river

Reach out and touch truth

Your own personal watchdog

Reach out and touch truth

Wow, this really ruined my day. I hope you have better news for us soon, Susan.

Sad to hear this.

Not much to add. But I hope he is up and back at it again dealing with our least favorite frauds soon.

:( My best wishes for RSL's speedy recovery - I am looking forward to reading new Kaz updates when he is feeling better!

This must be a direct result of all those hugs RSL was owed and did not get at TAM. You all know what a positive effect touching and feeling loved can have on one's physical well-being. I hope all you debtors are proud of yourselves now!

While I will leave Susan the task of filling up Robert's hug quota, I will do what I can. I will start hugging folks, and each time send good wishes towards Robert. Good for them, good for me, and hopefully can put a smile on Robert & Susan's faces.

And I'm not gonna stop until I hear he's well on the road to recovery.........and maybe not even then either! So there!!

Patience and endurance, Robert and Susan. We're all pulling for you. :)

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Where others talk, RSL gets off his bum and does - and does it well.

Hugs to all on your end, Better Half.

Can't log on from work, so just saw this now.

Damn

Damndamndamndamndamndamndamndamndamndamn.

Be strong, Susan, it won't be easy for either you or Robert, but two people in love can do quite a lot to get each other through.

We're all here-either to help you on the West Coast or as close as a PM and this place. We'll be here for anything you and him need.

Damn.

Please keep us updated. How did you know to go to the hospital? In any case, it sounds like that is a positive sign. RSL is a JREF gem. It sounds like he is responsive and aware which is also great. Please let him know how much we miss him and care. We are looking forward to hearing about his experiences and recovery.

Have to echo what has been said before; Robert is the best of what the JREF is and who we are as skeptics. I was honored to share a meal with him at TAM5 after his appearance on Anderson Cooper. It is a memory I treasure.

He is a strong man and together you make an unbeatable team.

Let us know if you need anything at all.

:hug3

Boo

Just adding my best wishes for a full and swift recovery. My thoughts are with you both.

Whatever you need, let us know.

You know how much respect he is held here on the forum, you also.

I was talking to a very hot headed young skeptic the other day and I was (as usual) holding Robert up as the example of someone that has made a real change in so many lives, yet done it totally with fairness and dignity. He is my hero and the hero of so many others.

You are also my hero.

Robert may not want my prayers, but he (AND YOU) are getting them anyway.

Focus on Robert but let us know as soon as possible what you need from us.

Echoing Kitty, is there any way we can help with watching the Web site while he's down? He'll be up and back at it as soon as he can, I know, but in the meantime, if we can pitch in, let us know.

This makes me sad. Please keep us up to date with news. I wish him, and you, all the best for the tough times to come.

Susan, It was very kind of you to let us know what happened. Our good thoughts and/or prayers are with you.

He's one of the good guys, and I hope he's better soon.

I'm another local. Don't be shy about letting us know if you need anything.
