RSL in hospital

Susan,

My thoughts are with you and Robert. I've never had the pleasure to meet Robert, but he has my respect and admiration. I can't wait for him to get out of the hospital...soon.

Hi Susan,

Please let Robert know I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

I've talked with him about a skeptical project I am working on. He gave me valuable advice and great insight. Robert is polite, humble, and caring, and I have many more positive words to describe him. I believe he should have many great years to look forward to.

Get well soon, Robert. And hang in there too, Susan.

What everyone else said. I have nothing but the greatest admiration for Robert and everything that he does -- how he carefully, thoroughly, and regularly keeps his websites updated and takes the time to keep us updated, too. I wish I had his drive and discipline, so I am distressed to hear this news. Please give him (another) hug from me, and hang in there yourself, too!

As kitty says, if there's anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask. Maybe we can't provide him flowers, but would you like some? A fund drive? A stuffed-animal drive? You say it, it'll happen.

[hugs]

Susan, I wish you both as speedy and positive a recovery as is possible in this situation. Please let Robert know we're all pulling for him, and also please let us know if there's anything we can do to help either of you.

Robert is the very model of a modern skeptic gentleman. His presence is an asset to this planet. If there is anything in our power to help him recover, you just let us know!

Our best thoughts and hopes are with you. And, more importantly, the best science, we hope.

Susan, a hug and my very best wishes to both Robert AND you. A delight to have met you both at past TAMs.

I'm so sorry to to hear this. All good thoughts to both of you...and here's something to keep in mind: if all that mental power really does work, RSL will be back ASAP!

:hug4

Susan, my thoughts with you and Robert o course. I suggest it may be helpful for you to reach out to Derek Colunduno (stroke victim), his Skepticality podcast partner Swoopy and his wife Susan, for support in this trying time. I am sure they can provide much info and know more than most what you must be going through.

Words? I have none, for a change.

Let me add my wishes for a speedy recovery, though. RSL's one class act, and I hope we have him back, soon.

Aw, crap. I just logged in and see this.

Susan, if you need best wishes, please know I have them in spades for Robert, and for you.

((((HUGS))))

You're both in my thoughts.

I'm local, too, so PM me if you need anything.

HG

Please take the following in the humorous spirit with which it is intended:

Perhaps Robert can be cheered up by being assured that Sylvia most certainly did not see this one coming.
