Merged Roosevelt's Rotten Record:Communism, Treachery, Betrayal

Roosevelt stands condemned as a warmonger. In 1938-39 in secret dealings with the Polish government he urged them not to negotiate with Germany for a peaceful solution to a territorial dispute. FDR's insistence on a belligerent attitude accelerated tensions and contributed to the outbreak of conflict. www.ihr.org/jhr/v04/v04p135_Weber.html
"Don't stand by idly and let Hitler destroy your country like he has done to others already." My, my, my, such belligerence.

In your gushing poetic over your love for Nazis you seem to have neglected that the 'territorial dispute' was Nazis wanting all of Polish land.
Well all of Poland they hadn't agreed their Soviet communist allies could have.

Roosevelt was a pathological liar who had no qualms about telling untruths. One example of this is when in October 1941 he produced a so called "secret map" purporting to be a nazi plan to invade South America. The map was actually printed by the British government and Roosevelt knew it. Bear in mind that this propaganda stunt took place before Pearl Harbor. The nazis had no plans to invade South or North America. The whole story was a pack of lies. www.ihr.org/jhr/v06/v06p125_Weber.html

From Selling War: The British Propaganda Campaign Against American "Neutrality" in World War II, by Nicholas J. Cull (p. 172):

"According to James R. Murphy, [William] Donovan's executive assistant, who delivered the map to the White House, neither the COI [Office of the Coordinator of Information, later the OSS] nor the President had any idea that it might not be genuine."

Fail.

So....we declared war On Germany because of this map showing false intentions in South America. Is that what we are supposed to believe?

I suppose getting polio was part of his plan and his master stroke was dying before he could finish.

A few years ago, if I remember correctly, there was a book from a good university press that claimed that Nazi Germany did indeed have eventual designs on the US and moving into the western hemisphere. But they were long term plans and involved building aircraft carriers and long range bombers.

"Long term" is in "decades, at best". Even if everything had gone according to their plans, I expect it would have taken the Nazis a generation or two to digest Europe.

I saw something like this too in material produced just after the war. It was based on the Germans using French, Dutch, Danish and Spanish (Spain having absorbed Portugal) colonies and land claims in the Americas and Africa to make inroads and set up bases

No, no, no. All Hitler wanted was peace. A little piece of Poland, A little piece of France ...

At least according to that great dramatist, Franz Liebkind

There's also the small point that Germany declared war on the USA first, and if it hadn't it's unlikely the US Congress would have approved a declaration of war against Germany. Of course this implies Hitler was working with Roosevelt...:eek::boggled::jaw-dropp

Yes I think it does, there is the 'theory' that Hitler himself was Jewish and part of the ploy.......

"unlikely" :confused:

Well night unto impossible but but there's always the chance the Germans don't declare war but do something else extremely stupid that prompts such a declaration, like a mark II Zimmerman telegram.
