Romney seems to be.....not so popular with the Hispanic vote. In some states he trails by almost 40 points in that demographic.
Now some of this might just be the whole rich very white Mormon thing. But I suspect lots of it is also a general Hispanic backlash against the GOP which continues to gnash and wail about illegal immigration despite numbers that show illegal immigration to be at near historic lows. If that is the case then there might not be anything Romney can do about this.
But that is not interesting to talk about. So what are his options here? Hispanic VP? Taking a stand on key immigration legislation? Mollifying his views on foreclosures?
