Rob Menard on the validity and existance of fee schedules
Um, the short answer is YES.

The fee schedules were designed by a lawyer, and they use them all the time.

So unless Rumpy here wishes to state that the lawyers who rely upon them have no understanding of the law, then there is basis in law for them.

Ever gone to a restaurant? Did you order off their menu? That is a form of fee schedule. What about using a Dentist? They too often have Fee Schedules listed.

I have used my fee schedule and instead of collecting, I let one go. The police officer was appreciative of not having to pay.

I assume someone will now ask him to give a case reference because the only way his fee schedule would have been enforcable would have been a legal ruling.

Girlgye's on a mission at the moment. Think the men in white coats will be coming for her soon, judging by her increasingly erratic posts.

It is fun to watch them flailing about. They seem to think that being evasive and rude makes them appear clever to the outside world when in fact they have quite the opposite effect.

Why not come over here and have a more in depth discussion? The more skeptically minded on the DI forum are already playing you like a puppet, so come over here and destroy our skepticism, that way you will finally prove to us and them that you are the man after all. Otherwise it'll be obvious to everyone that you're just a child trying to make friends by performing playground tricks. Unfortunately your tricks have a nasty edge to them though - you sell people snake oil, see them suffer at the hands of your advice and have the cheek to criticise the rest of us for exposing you.

Hes going to be accused of double standards if he claims the copyright act is "just an act" becasue he reported me to Google for breach of copyright for posting the World Freeman Society logo on my blog :D

Menard is my marionette ;)

By the way, he lies all the time, he claims to use the ignore function and then answers posts :rolleyes:

Oh, JB beat me to it. I too remember reading of that classic occasion when Rob used a statutory remedy to pursue a copyright infringement claim. He span it as an example of using statutes when it suits him but managed to overlook the fact that this demonstrates that he is subject to the same laws as everyone else. What a wally. :jaw-dropp. It even caused some of the dribblers to stop and think.

Actually the copyright infringement point in relation to Rob's proposed book could be really useful. If he doesn't comply with the law we and/or the forum will probably have a case against him. Perfect. Lets then see and record for ourselves Rob's 'success' when he trots into court and claims that he isn't bound by statutory law because he doesn't consent to it. That truly would be game set and match.

I think he knows this though, so the book won't materialise. Rather like Freeman Valley, Rob's Peace Officers, his failure to take any challenges, in fact his failure to provide any proof at all that any of what he says has any legitimate basis in the real world.

He is a master of one thing though, it begins with "w" and ends in "oo"

If only for a short time, its down to attention span you see, his "dribblers" just need to hear a couple of amusing anecdotes and they "snap back" into idiocy pretty sharpish.

I recall the event myself, which is part of why I mentioned it. More dishonesty and hypocrisy from our Honourable Freeman.

But it sounds like his "book" will be mostly cutting and pasting posts from internet forums. That's not too much work, and one thing is clear: his core constituency is dumb enough to spend money on it, no matter how crappy it turns out.

And unlike all his other claims, "writing" a "book" is something he can do entirely on his own*. All his other Grand Schemes fall apart at the "needing other people to buy into it" stage of the game.




*Leaving aside any potential plagiarism, of course.
 
Well, if he agrees to contract why shouodn't he use statute? It's allowed isn't it? as long as you agree t ocontract you can choose whichever statute suits you.
 
Yes. They make a big thing of contracting or not contracting and consent. What's to stop him from choosing to contract or consent to any statute he agrees with?

Do you think its a workable system that the population individually decided which laws to obey or not.........I cant even believe I'm having this conversation on this forum of all places.
