PRAYERS WORK! TO ALL WHO EXPRESSED OFFERS OF SUPPORT THANK YOU! MY Laptop has come back to me! Some idiot stole it when drunk, felt bad about it and returned it surreptitiously when sobered up, or they forgot it at a my friends place. Either way, I am so happy....

Now that's a confusing statement; how could the 'thief' forget about it at the home of a friend of Menard? Could it just be that Menard got drunk, left the laptop at his friends, forgot where he left it when he sobered up and the friend has now brought it round?

My thoughts exactly.

Plus it must have eventually occurred to Bobby boy that the damage to his leader of the freeman world status caused by the notion that he can’t be trusted with top secret freeman files is not worth the $5 he raised in donations.

But then $5 will buy some cheap wine.
 
This is a new height in silliness, forgetting you laptop, thinking it is stolen, and asking for donations. :boggled:

Somehow I don't think those donations, if any, will be returned upon recovery of the laptop.

I have been looking into home brewing of beer, it does not look economical unless one is into those expensive micro brews. (I am.)
 
I wonder how many little "lost laptop" scams Rob has done in the past, now he has gained a bit of notoriety he gets found out pretty quick.
I bet he wishes he had kept under the radar now. :)

Do what a friend of mine did. He did a search for a woman of marriagable age and status who came from a brewery owning family - rather shamelessly I might add. He wanted to be a taster but did end up heading up their HR department. It does help to marry the owner's daughter....and he gets all the beer he needs plus one of the first tastes of the experimental stuff.

The height of silliness is you accepting as truth the baseless theories of others, but only of course provided they are insulting to me.

The donations have been returned. Sure is nice to have so many caring friends though. Was really touched by the outpouring of support.

And no I did not forget my laptop, nor was I pissed or drunk. I was asleep. The guy who stole it though was, and left it behind in another buddies vehicle, and when he found it, it was returned to me. I also had a chat with the thief who owned up to it, and he agreed to do 10 hours of community service with Salvation Army in lieu of other punishment.
So it all worked out very well.


Sure says a lot about the average mindset of you folks though. One guy makes something up, and then you latch on to it and accept it as truth with NO EVIDENCE AT ALL. You are not skeptics, that is what you tell yourself to justify your inabilities to distinguish truth. For you lot, truth seems to be that which you are willing to accept, because it supports your previous mindsets. You do not think, you defend beliefs, regardless of how ludicrous they are.

No wonder this forum is such a laughing stock on so many other forums. No wonder this is the ONLY forum where JB is not only tolerated and not banned, but celebrated.

In any event, I have much to do this year, with a new book, movie and Freeman Valley taking shape. Hope you all have a good year!

Oh, wait. He's just here to stir up drama. Le sigh.

Let's just hope that BC doesn't have an infestation of diseased bees. Because if Notaries aren't aware of their duties in that regard, it could get bad.
