Even though that has NEVER been a part of dutch jurisdiction ever and the fact that our judicial system works completely different (our laws are made by parliament and judges cannot amend them, if things clash the law goes back to parliament and they can then opt to alter the law). And people fall for that stuff and pay the guys to run ads.
Sad.

This is the most amazing part about any of these claims that "The law isn't what you think it is!", that some people might actually believe that pretty much every country in the world has the exact same problems with their laws, that can be exploited in the exact same way, despite such countries having significantly different legal traditions.

It's similar to a site I read a couple of years back explaining how income tax was unconstitutional in Canada, using the same arguments used by anti-taxers from the US. Despite the fact that the US and Canadian constitutions have fundamentally different histories, intents, and texts.

So what you're saying is that they're verbatim, just using different words :D

Dutch freemen? :boggled:

They do have a point in that their stuff is equally effective whether a country have common law tradition or not, it is just that it sounds a bit more silly. :D

I vividly remember an Italian poster on Icke being told by 'learned freemen' that FMOTL have universal applications & applied in civil code jurisdictions. If this in the case I'd love to see the likes of Menard or St Clair run their submissions before a panel of Saudi Judges :D

Wow, this morning I saw an ad in a dutch newspaper that baffled me until I remembered this thread and the whole fotl oddness.
Some people 'claiming their name', it pointed to a website www.ikclaimmijnnaam.nl (in dutch) which is basically a FOTL thing, clearly translated to go with the whole common law thing.

I'm tempted to go to their reunion on friday the 13th in Utrecht where they'll explain how this claiming their name is supposed to work. Also they will prove that cars can drive on water that night, should be good for a laugh.

If you could pay with special FTOL money maybe, but I'm thinking they want horrible government control money for that. And while I'd like a laugh, there are better ways to spend my cash :)

It would appear Robert has had his laptop "stolen".

Sorry to hear that Rob, I've got a spare one of these, I'm sure it will serve you just as well, here's a pic,

it's yours if you want it, just PM me your address.

Maybe the disappearance of Robs laptop and the closing of the WFS website are going to coincide with the disappearance of the details of all the people who have invested in the "Lawful Bank"

I'll just write them a note that says "geaccepteerd voor waarde" (accepted for value, not sure if my translation is correct since I have no clue what it's supposed to mean anyway). Let them try to sue me for the €8

But chances are better opportunities to spend my friday night will come along
