I agree -- it's pretty bizarre for people to be looking for an argument based on having an Obama sticker;

We really need a smiley that shows the point whooshing over the responder's head. You're demonising the behaviour of expressing support for your country's head of state by labelling it as 'looking for an argument'. Do Democratic party supporters look for arguments in other time-honoured ways in your district, like dressing funny, talking posh, having long hair or lookin' at me?

No. I didn't equate having an Obama bumper sticker with looking for an argument. I stated (based on personal experience) that some people with Obama stickers are, in fact, looking for an argument.
Couple that with the fact that it is common to attribute to those who treat you poorly idiological motives that they may not actually have, and I am not ready to accept that the road rage incident in the OP was an example of ODS without some confirmation more than the driver's assurance that he "pointed to the sticker" before the incident.
Other people on this thread are, of couse, happy to hear of an anti-Obama incident that begot violence, and so don't require any corroborating evidence.
