He's now on pre-trial release. The judge has ordered that he stay outside the city of DC except on court business, based the order on Tarrio's social media statements where he indicated he would engage in similar acts of vandalism.

Looks like the fascists won't have their leader for their riot tomorrow. Edit: Actually, I'd say there's a decent chance he shows up anyway.

Here is a picture of the AR-15 mags taken by DC police. They are common 30 rd p-mags with PB logos painted on them. Cops claim that Tarrio told them he intended to sell them. Magazines over 10rds are illegal within the city of DC.

And here's that same white supremacist street gang getting a tiny morsel of what left-wing protestors get just standing around, and are now screaming about the cops.

As a strongly ethical person, I'd like to denounce police violence in all but the most necessary cases.

However.

When you're part of a violent racist street gang that likes to start fights and terrorize the locals when you, I'm actually fine with you getting pepper-sprayed and shot with rubber bullets. Go stomp around in your own little suburbs next time, stick to spewing slurs - oh, I'm sorry, y'all call them "gamer words" now - on your shooters.

Warms my heart to see them getting a taste.

Also, Proud BOis have no idea what protesting with possible police conflict entails. For all their faux tac gear they have no eye or respirator protection, they set up no medical stations (that would require the, caring about their own), and have few masks on but love streaming the conflicts. Also they keep getting nabbed for having guns even though DC put up tons of signs saying they were illegal. Shoe must hurt on the other foot right now.

Or they are rioting because they are a bunch of thugs looking for an excuse to riot. Not everyone cares that much about politics, so much as being a dick when given an opportunity.

They're clueless about basic police tactics as well - all of which is why they seem completely unable to deal with bike cops armed with basic pepper spray canisters.

COmpare to the riot gear, MRAPS, and flaming tear gas canisters and flash bangs that left wing activists deal with - never mind Dolt 45's club-wielding goon squads.

The people who showed up in Washington D.C. to protest the election results might care about politics.

But I do agree with your assessment of these right wingers: They’re violent thugs looking for any reason to be violent.

Come on where is the tire slashing and baton round to the face we expect from our police? It seems like these cops don't know the first thing about how to properly deal with protestors.

Think they will be blocking off neighborhoods and arresting everyone on the street again? That is policing 101 in DC after all. Though these guys might have more difficulty finding homes to offer sancturary.

Dunno, tho. I think the pbs are much more about schoolboy machismo rather than political maneuvering. They like antifa for an archrival because that's exactly who they would have bullied in school. I don't see any political objectives, other than a natural gravitation to the authoritarian right for shelter and legitimacy. But it's the authoritarian angle, the power, that attracts them, not principles of conservative governing.

Rioters and looters are not displaying any principles at all. Regardless of how they choose to portray the cover for their actions, it is still simply a fig leaf covering a desire to engage in rioting and looting.
