Eh.. Reinoehl was charged 3rd of September and shot the same day. I don't know what you'd want state police to do?

Going by the timestamps the warrant to arrest Reinoehl was issued 4.50 pm and the shooting took place at around 2 hrs after that so this entire "did nothing for days" is just wrong.

Grand Juror in Breonna Taylor case confirms what was already widely suspected. The DA had no interest in pursuing murder charges against the killer cops and was trying to use the secrecy of the Grand Jury to conceal this.

The GJ in this case was only presented with the indictments for the reckless endangerment charges, there was no option to return a murder indictment for any of the three.

The anonymous juror's attorney just sent out a press release with a statement by the juror. It confirms what many have suspected:

"The grand jury was not presented any charges other than the three Wanton Endangerment charges against Detective Hankison."

This is scandalous. They only charged for things which were... supported by the actual evidence and events which happened! How dare they!

This is identical to being upset that they weren't charged with genocide and war crimes.

Every time an event happens like this, the BLM crowd will always want "first degree murder!" because they know that's the worst one. They don't care whether it has even the slightest connection to the facts. They just are upset, so they want the worst / biggest thing.

Back here in reality, these were cops executing a lawful warrant on a drug connected location, and returned fire when shot.

The DA lied that the grand jury declined to pursue a criminal homicide indictment. This is wholly untrue, the GJ was never given the option.

From Daniel Cameron's public statement at the time:
While there are six possible homicide charges under Kentucky law, these charges are not applicable to the facts before us because our investigation showed, and the grand jury agreed, that Mattingly and Cosgrove were justified in the return of deadly fire after having been fired upon by Kenneth Walker. Let me state that again: According to Kentucky law, the use of force by Mattingly and Cosgrove was justified to protect themselves. This justification bars us from pursuing criminal charges in Miss Breonna Taylor's death.

So they misrepresented / lied to the "give us what we want or we burn the city down and shoot at cops" mob?

Good.

Being lied to is literally the least they deserve. You probably know what I'd do if I had the power. They'd all be in gulags at a minimum.

If some prosecutor feels inclined to lie to them to try to reduce the chances of them being as destructive (a vain hope anyway), don't expect me to get upset about it.

I wouldn't care in the slightest if they'd sprinkled crack on Breonna's body to frame her up. Lies in the service of handling the criminal element (of which she was part, without a doubt) and to shield officers from naïve elements of society seeking to punish them for no good reason, are lies I can get behind.

We've had lone nuts and small groups of nuts since the beginning of civilization. That doesn't make the proud boys more powerful. Perspective is all I ask. They are a small group of no political power and little social influence. They are not taking over anything.

True but they were dealt with via our law enforcement agencies and our criminal justice system. Not by the Wolverines or by the Scobby Doo gang or Antifa or any other groups that like role playing as law enforcers and avengers.
