Rick Santorum: "In it to win it."

I just googled Santorum to get some information on his various positions. What I found is so disturbing, I don't think I'll vote for him.

I live in PA where we still try to live down the shame of having elected the man.

Today we made up for it in brilliant fashion. The cover of the City Paper is Ricky-boy's head done up Warhol style. He's got some very red lipstick, a fetching shade of blue eye shadow and a blonde head of hair that says "Hey boys, I'm up for some fun!"

I lauged for 5 minutes when I saw it. I may have it framed.

I'd like to see that, but I'm not googling for a picture of santorum.

Why is it always the gayest-looking men who are so anti-homo? I'm allowed to say it because I'm gay myself: sometimes you can tell by looking, and my gaydar pings him.

I thought everyone knew that- they have urges that they think are sinful, and they think that by trying to stamp out homosexuality in society, they can stamp it out within themselves. If all the gays are ashamed to be seen in public, then they won't be some darned tempting, and if he can't be both gay and happy, why should they be allowed to be?

I tried to find it for you but it's not online anywhere I could find. I wonder if using the work scanner to defame former politicians is against city policy...

True. However, in this case, he is both a bad man and would make a horrible President.

Barring the deaths of everyone attending the Republican National Convention, all Republicans in the House, all Republicans in the Senate, and all Republican governors, there is no danger of that happening.

Bush put down the TARP. Are you saying that Santorum somehow got involved with Bush?
I am on record here as frequently noting people bending over for Bush - and his occasional return of the favor - sometimes with a nice reach-around.:)

It depends on where you stand. For those people who have the opinion that it doesn't matter what happens to those who are not "good Christians," and that in fact they should be punished when possible, then Santorum is a "good person."

And so was Tomás de Torquemada.
Another face I would like to have my sights on.

I assume you do not know who Torquemada was and what "he" did. Otherwise I have to feel Batman syndrome is in effect. Batman syndrome is what I call the condition where you keep catching the murdering/torturing bad guy, putting him in prison ................and waiting for him to escape and kill more.

If no people like that ever escaped, I might not be like I am about it. But, some do. I don't ever want to be, like Batman (or his equivalents in real, non-imaginary character life)responsible for the further lives destroyed when that happens.

Not alone either, just very open on this point.:)

No, I know about Torquemada.

"Another face I would like to have my sights on." Torquemada was one. Who is the other person you would like to set your sights on?

Santorum, I thought.

Actually, no, Santorum is fecal, but he has done nothing to need removal from this world. On the other hand, I do have a long, many historical, list.
Btb, since you seem to be interested, I actually would prefer taking out T. with an edged weapon or fire - keeping it in his comfort zone as it were.

Drop after drop of molten lead onto his genitals would be how I would start...
