I'm not an expert but I believe part of the appeal of the term being applied to Santorum is that if you are doing it right, you don't get any.
His presence does suggest a certain lack of preparation.
I'd say the absence of the substance and the presence of one but not both of its two components would be an indication of a painful experience. The purpose of the second component is to prevent the experience from being painful.
I yield to your superior knowledge on the matter.
Is bowing the same thing as bending over? Many have bowed to my expertise in this arena.
I guess I just don't get simian humor. That was the joke, yes.
There you have it. If any soldier landing on Omaha Beach thought "I better get lifetime health care for this **** at least!" -- he got what he wanted.Considering that veterans have their own healthcare system run by the government and paid for by taxes, I can't imagine what exactly Santorum is frothing about.
IF that happens, the fear is that Santorum will be spread thin.Even though most people don't know right now, I see it as likely that people will get Santorum all over this country, eventually.
Unless a certain preparation is extremely present. His presence does suggest a certain lack of preparation.
Bush put down the TARP. Are you saying that Santorum somehow got involved with Bush?As a general rule, if you're doing anything that requires gloves, you've graduated well past towels and should be putting down a tarp.
The man is a joke.
Nommed, you are. You're late to the party, we've finished with the cake and have moved into.Edited by kmortis:Removed previously moderated content
Which is the 1996 Republican convention all over again, really.
Don't you remember that scene in "Saving Private Ryan" when the soldier gets his arm shot off and he goes back to get it? That's because he knew that a government run health care plan would evenually require him to produce evidence that he once had an arm.
He is a good man.
Jim Carrey? Woody Woodpecker?Yes, that's why he chose this fellow as campaign manager:

I think Santorum may have just beat out Sarah Palin's remarks about Paul Revere for foolishness:
Santorum: D-Day Troops Fought For Health Care Freedom
He is a good man.
That's a stretch for someone who not only believes that homosexuality should be illegal but also wants to indoctrinate children in willful ignorance.
How is those the acts of a "good man"?
