Rick Santorum: "In it to win it."

I'm not an expert but I believe part of the appeal of the term being applied to Santorum is that if you are doing it right, you don't get any.

I'd say the absence of the substance and the presence of one but not both of its two components would be an indication of a painful experience. The purpose of the second component is to prevent the experience from being painful.

I yield to your superior knowledge on the matter.

Considering that veterans have their own healthcare system run by the government and paid for by taxes, I can't imagine what exactly Santorum is frothing about.
There you have it. If any soldier landing on Omaha Beach thought "I better get lifetime health care for this **** at least!" -- he got what he wanted.

Don't you remember that scene in "Saving Private Ryan" when the soldier gets his arm shot off and he goes back to get it? That's because he knew that a government run health care plan would evenually require him to produce evidence that he once had an arm.

Even though most people don't know right now, I see it as likely that people will get Santorum all over this country, eventually.
IF that happens, the fear is that Santorum will be spread thin.

As a general rule, if you're doing anything that requires gloves, you've graduated well past towels and should be putting down a tarp.
Bush put down the TARP. Are you saying that Santorum somehow got involved with Bush?
