I haven't read HI's other posts, so forgive me if I'm giving attention to a troll. He referred to my PM to him but decided not to reprint it, which I'd given him permission to do. Since he insists on being wrong, here's what I had told him:
Hello, HI. You are mistaken. Gage claims the presence of "tons of molten iron" that was the direct result of an incendiary such as thermite or thermate. No such material was found, nor do any workers or investigators claim it was found.
The material you cite below was cut from structural steel columns by investigators. It is, in fact, structural steel. It did not approach the melting point of steel, and quite obviously was not caused by thermite or thermate. I invite you to view the photos of the entire column K-16 in the NIST report, from which one sample was cut. You'll see what I mean quite clearly. NIST determined that the sulfidation and erosion to that column happened when it was horizontal, in the piles. Also, that column came from below the 53rd floor and did not figure in collapse initiation.
Feel free to post this response. Will you?
