Richard Gage vs Mark Roberts

Take a look at his "Action Alert" posted on the AE911TRUTH.ORG site in january, here are some highlights:

"It is very important that we alert you today to request your additional help and support by becoming a recurring monthly Sustaining Member. We have proclaimed January as Pledge Drive Month to start the new year with the intention and purpose of focusing our efforts toward even much greater success.

Now we are in serious need of your on-going financial support to take AE911Truth to the next level

People like you, who pledge a small portion of their hard-earned dollars so that we may act in your stead in the vastly important goals of the 9/11 Truth Movement. Specifically, we need to understand your priorities for AE911Truth. Therefore one of our staff will be calling you within the next few weeks.

Your generous gift is the life-blood of AE911Truth. It may be as little as $10/month, $25/month, or more! There is a perfect pledge level for everyone! The key is that everyone, especially our Petition Signers, place your vote of confidence in AE911Truth with dollars. If you are unable at this time to pledge a recurring monthly donation, then a single substantial donation is another alternative!"

Cardboard boxes must be expensive huh?

He isn't even smart enough to invent his own woo.

For all of the Truthers coming out of the woodwork to proclaim Mark's sound defeat, I have a question: What was gained by this so-called victory? Because I read the paper everyday, I watch CNN, and I check other news sources on-line. Nowhere do I see any mention of architect Richard Gage proving once and for all that the events of 9/11 couldn't have transpired the way the official version claims. Why is that?

Okay, anyone else think Gravy resembles Bobby D. (Robert Deniro) with that beard. I thought it was just me, but two other people I've shown the debate have said the same thing without me even mentioning it.

Tour guide/ Debunker/ Deniro stunt double, thats quite the busy schedule:D

Just got through watching....wow.

It's unfortunate that the host had to keep interrupting with his own questions, but I think Mark did a pretty good job given the circumstances.

At one time mark made a great point, and when they went to gage for the response, I just saw him dialing his phone and it made me laugh. (I can't be bothered with your silly questions, I've got to make a phone call!) haha

Gage accepted his defeat the minute he reached for those cardboard boxes.

You talking to me?

""I'm Richard Gage, I'm a architect of 20 years currently working on a 400 million dollar project .."

"I'm Mark, I'm a tour guide"

Mark Roberts this puny fraud has the audacity to debate Richard Gage?

So Mark is still a guru for you "sceptics"? Why don't you try to be really sceptic? You are so gullible that even I feel ashamed.:jaw-dropp

Nope, it says more about you and this forum. Even I am ashamed of such gullibility.

Why don't you go back exposing this guy with the spoons? That's your proper territory.

It must really get your goat that someone with no expertise in engineering, or physics can make your supposed best in those departments look like whaling and whining children.

It must also raise your blood pressure to see an "alleged" architect, and "alleged" expert, use cardboard boxes for his demonstration in such a "debate". I would love to see this get enough attention that it appeared on "The Daily Show" or better yet, Olbermann's "Oddball" segment.

Ashamed...you have no idea. I tell you what, go stand out on your Mom's front lawn and start spewing the crap you believe in about 9/11, and see who is ashamed of who.

In all fairness, when Gage was using the phone, he wasn't talking to someone else. his connection to hardfire got dropped and he was trying to dial back into the conversation. So he was unable to hear what mark was saying at that time he was disconnected. He couldn't hear them asking him to reply because he was trying to dial back in. It looks funny because he has the headset on to communicate, but it's just an extension of that phone he was using.

I admit I thought the same thing at first and it did seem pretty funny. But it wasn't what it looked like. It was probably a bit unfair of the editors to keep that in rather than just showing a shot of Mark and the other guy asking the question and getting no answer. But it was kind of funny. I feel guilty because it was a bit unfair despite being funny.

I quickly realized that's what the situation was, but that didn't stop it from being funny :). I was waiting for them to go back to gage later only to find him playing pac-man. (But I just had to settle for playing with boxes)

Just a thought that I made in another thread....

Gage made a statement during the show that the collapses all "followed the path of most resistance"?

Yet isn't that exactly what the cardboard box he dropped did?

It's not the beard it's the basement scene in The King of Comedy.

Rupert's Mom: Rupert? What are you doing down there?

Rupert Pupkin: MOM!

This reminds of a British troofer nutter who made the claim that falling objects always follow the path of least resistance. He never did take anyone on up on the challenge of dropping an anvil from several feet above his head as, by his theory, it would've suddenly moved sideways and missed him.

Hey Homeland Insurgency, have you addressed Gravy's refutation of the "molten steel" being tested? It seems he nailed you with those pesky fact thingys.

Another point to take note of...Gage kept calling it molten Iron...yet I'm not aware of ANYONE on the scene who claims it was iron. Perhaps someone told him that the by-product of thermite is iron, not steel. Another problem is that Gage doesn't understand that aluminum and iron oxide are all that's in thermite. He kept saying potassium and some other element were signatures of thermite.

Deniro? Nope, don't see it.

However, I think he's practically a dead ringer for Mandy Patinkin, though, beard or no beard.

Potassium is found in human bodies...OMG, that proves it beyond all doubt. Humans were used as bombs to destroy the WTC :)

Since things have calmed down, I'm taking this thread off of moderated status. Of course, should it "heat up" again, we'll simply return to moderated and the people responsible for the return will be addressed properly.

Thanks for your cooperation, all.
