Retired NASA "expert" Inspires Balsamo Fraud?

Thanks for the feedback beachnut.

I rarely cross link between forums but I note this:

Irony in the signature, like most 911 truth experts... Invite debate, a call out thread, and then put on ignore those who are there to debate.

Balsamo's primary tactic of debate is personal denigration of anyone who opposes him. And most of his posting "projects" his own shortcomings onto anyone opposing him - a level of offensive personal attack rarely seen on this forum.

I consider it an honor to be listed amongst such noble company.

I still get frustrated that the US language censor seems designed to handicap Aussies but faeces (see what I mean? ;)) it gets boring typing out alternate versions:
Starting with the Great Aussie adjective for something that resembles a haemoglobin rich bodily fluid; OR
needing to suggest that someone's parents were not married at the time they were conceived OR
suggesting that someone should relocate to a place named after a form of sexual congress between consenting adults which was a criminal offence in most of our legal jurisdictions until quite recent times. And that one used as the theme of a Toyota commercial.

Then a typical bit of Aussie conversation is probably unintelligible to anyone from another country except a bleeding Kiwi. And I wont mention sheep.

Try this classic example:

BTW I was born a pom....what's a "Bath"?

:)
There are times and posters where its almost enjoyable being here until I remember almost 2000 died and the nutters are dancing on their graves

And the member posting as "Sunzi" is clearly expert in aviation matters and has rebutted all aviation related technical claims plus demonstrated some fraudulent and other improper conduct.

Yes. Someday I must find out who this "Sunzi" is :D

Would that be attempting to land a wingless fallling machine?

While unconscious

In the interest of honesty though, Balsamo's point was that no civilian aircraft and certainly no humans, could survive 11.2g. The matter is moot though, given that the application of physics in the paper was so incredibly convoluted and utterly wrong.
The arithmetic was correct but just because one can add 2+2 and get 4 as the result does not make the result correct if what should have been added was 3+3.

A more insidious error arises when someone gets the right answer for the wrong reasons.

The pervasive appearance of that one in these 9/11 threads is seen in all the Bazantian style energy based calculations which predict WTC fall velocities approximating what really happened. When the underlying Bazantian assumption is that columns were crushed.

And trying to tell Bazantophiles their method was wrong......tends to not win friends. :o

Ditto some of the FEA advocates who solve - to umpteen decimals - the wrong problem.

His physics was not correct, he took numbers and messed it up. Nothing was right about

Robert Balsamo's 11.2gs was made up. As if Robert Balsamo, pilot for truth founder of woo, took random numbers, waved his hands, and produced 11.2gs. Balsamo's purpose, show Flt 77 couldn't hit the Pentagon, impact impossible. Worse than random, he took numbers he thought were relevant to the calculation, juggled them, waved his hands (did his special math and silly logic) and came up with 11.2gs.

There is nothing right about the 11.2g, except a 757 can't pull 11.2gs without cracking a wing back past 6gs...

http://www.cesura17.net/~will/Ephemera/Sept11/Balsamo/balsamo2.html

The 11.2g value has no meaning, except to Balsamo who leaves it up, says he corrected it. Then with correct math, but failed inputs makes it 10.14g, and then settles on 34gs.

Then we have reality.

Must be low on money, pilot for truth cult members are flooding the Internet with fake Vg diagrams and failed claims from pilots for truth. Failed pilots who lie about 911.

T

I did not say there was, beachnut. I said his application of physics was "utterly wrong".

He did manage to enter numbers and operations into his calculator without any "fat finger" problems. That's about as good an accomplishment as spelling his own name correctly.

You mean...
... the application of physics in the paper was so incredibly convoluted and utterly wrong.

I wanted to review his failure, and reread the work done by the PhD Math Wizard.

Likewise.

I am sort of surprised that I've only been dinged twice for B/F/T during the time that balls-ammo has been there. Many more times than that I've crossed well past the line.

Kind of bummed to see the recent "crackdown" in that section though... for 7 years I have been treating the truther scum with the contempt that they deserve, not worried about calling them out on their BS. Not being able to freely blast them takes so much of the fun out of it. :)

Oh and in case anyone was wondering, I am 505 (505 spelled backwards) over there. Haha.

Welcome aboard - it was a good idea to leave the palindromic user-name behind. Some of us could be confused.

BTW I don't like saying this BUT our trolls are a better grade than "over there" - and most of the regulars seem to have gone into semi-retirement over recent months.

That is ******* hilarious!

I guess he thinks he's clever because he can decipher a backwards spelled name??? He used to do the same thing with a user at ATS a few years ago.

I suspect that they only react to complaints. And I've never reported anyone in ~25000 posts over 7 years on ~6 forums. Certainly cannot interpret their own rules to satisfaction of this sort of lawyer type person.

I carved up an M_K post with surgical precision. Then got told the whole post was a personal attack.

Well if logical responses against posts are personal attack....may as well advertise on front page "Reasoned Rational Thinking Not Welcome"

Biggest risk here is if you say something sensible and "on topic" in the middle of a string of "off topic" stuff. The lot gets moved 'en bloc' to AAH. So you have to make the same brilliantly inspired, incisive and accurate comments again. If you can remember WTF you were talking about. :o

Just a thought ozeco, but if you really need to repost an idea contained in an AAH post, you can utilize copy & paste to speed the process.

Thanks. I've been reading/lurking here for years but just don't post much since things are always well covered.

Not surprising that a lot of people have moved on with no new info/arguments ever coming from the troof camp.

Yeah, well I guess he is good at something. :)
