What about Kathy Griffin constantly putting underage children at the butt of her jokes!?

Oh and their jokes about getting rid of all religion all together!?

Of the people whom I personally know: Most of the liberals I know are jobless, athiest, and are not "actively" even looking for a job because they are bums. So they are not even counted on the list of unemployed people (it only counts people receiving benefits). All they want to do is drink, watch sports, and socialize. They dread work and do not want to do it. Most actually quit their jobs (I know man crazy huh!? Talk about not caring during times of economic hardships).

I feel sorry for their families whom suffer because of their addictions of constant personal pleasure, and unthoughtfullness for others (did I just create a new word).


Most of the conservatives whom I know have jobs and the ones who are jobless; most are receiving benefits (while they are actively looking).

Also I might point out that of all the people who I know personally who own their own businesses: almost ALL are conservative (I can only think of a couple libs who I know that own their own businesses.)

Heck I even know a Muslim guy who came to the US in the 80's from Pakistan and started a pizza business. Guess what!? He's republican!

And he voted for Bush and is a big fan of Fog Hat and Metallica (he used to go to their concerts.) Talk about assimilation!

Yeah, get your point. I think you are over simplifying it here. Any out burst or assumption of what the man's affiliations were, are not a reflection of a need to have him be the "other." Rather they are a reflection on the state of US at this time and how people practically anticipate people starting to assassinate political figures. Why? Because that's the direction we've been headed for a while now. The knee jerk judgment is not so much evidence of a an irrational prejudice but a rational fear.

Have to agree. The over-the-top rhetoric has been fueling this for quite some time, now. The extreme stuff.

Palin and her map isn't the cause of this incident. She's a symptom. And I damned well do expect more and better from my government. It only takes a mouth to say words. It takes an actual brain to say the right words, or not to say the wrong ones.

Its funny because Sarah Palin's strength has always been in playing the gullible idiots in the world. And unfortunately there are those on both sides of the coin. It is pretty ironic that twisting the truth and facts are the thing that are going to lead to her demise. It's pretty funny actually.:D

She would be better off to just stop the spin: it's making her look like a fool. The perp in this case appears to be mentally ill, and that should be enough to break any real connection between her ads and this shooting.

Jared Lee Loughner was charged with attempting to kill U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords and three others and with killing U.S. District Judge John Roll and one other person, federal prosecutors said.

Loughner, 22, is accused of killing Roll and Gabriel Zimmerman, a member of Giffords’ staff and a federal employee, according to a criminal complaint filed today. He is also charged with attempting to kill Giffords and two other members of her staff who are also federal employees, prosecutors said.

I wonder why he isn't charged with the other deaths and injuries, only those of Federal employees (unless the "one other person" is not Giffords' aide)? Is it because the Federal jurisdiction is only for Federal employees? Does that mean the State will charge him with the other deaths and injuries? I'm confused.

Yeah actually I do. I also help raise funding for Saint Jude's hospital if you must know personal stuff.

But I have my limits because I'm not going to make my own family suffer and lose everything simply because someone is not willing to change their lifestyle for the betterment of their own people.

You give a man a fish you feed him for a day, you teach a man to fish you feed him a lifetime.

They constantly want fish yet never want to fish themselves.

Is it that hard to understand!?

For example a cousin of mine spent all her money for Christmas on her new boyfriend instead of her son.

She's lucky she has family members that care for her and her child and we are willing to constantly give her money to support her child instead of simply calling CPS and treating her as an outcast.

She is having mid age crisis or sumin.

CNN website says -

Prosecutors filed two first-degree murder counts, two attempted murder counts and one count of attempting to kill a member of Congress against Loughner on Sunday. Those counts involve only victims who worked for the federal government, but state prosecutors also could bring charges in the remaining cases.

Yes. I'm sure the state of Arizona will be filing charges shortly.

I saw a commentator on CNN last night say that Arizona has a very high standard for insanity defense and the Federal standard is the lowest. The Feds seem to have dibs on him, but if he gets anything less than the death penalty at the federal level, I bet that Arizona will go after him.

No clue.

My favorite personal instrument was a Zeiss Elta R50. I like Nikon and Sokkia okay as well. I always thought Topcons were over-rated. The optics sucked until only a few years ago, and the operator interface was clumsy. They had such a big footprint in the surveyor market that they were popular out of tradition, though.

"There's reason to believe that this individual may have a mental issue. And I think people who are unbalanced are especially susceptible to vitriol," he said during his televised remarks. I must have my head elsewhere. I had no idea how bad Arizona had gotten. I forgot about the immigration laws. Hopefully this will change the way we communicate. I feel so bad for that poor child and her parents.
