I saw the map. So what? "Targeting" a Congressional seat is a common term. It has nothing to do with shooting.

That poster had squat to do with the shooting.

I'm not sure what your point is, Fnord. Have you already decided that you're convinced of the suspect's guilt despite the fact that he hasn't been charged yet and despite the fact that no evidence has been adduced yet?

You know for SURE that the poster and Palin's message had NOTHING to do with the shooting? That's amazing!!

If the eyewitness accounts are valid, then yes. But that's beside the point of what I think of his mental state; and judging by the contents of his posts, the guy is fruity as a nutcake!

Yeah, there have been a number of attacks on British MPs in the past.

One Lib Dem MP was attacked by a man with a samurai sword. A previous Lib Dem leader, Paddy Ashdown, was attacked twice. Once by a man with a flick-knife and then by a group of men who threw firebombs at his car.

Considering that victims of gunshot wounds to the head are usually kept sedated for 2 or 3 days, this might not be vaild -- it's not (yet) on any of the Fox News webpages.
