Jesus is alive and living on Ganymede with his family and his sister Veronica? We all start of as atoms then evolve into molecules and eventually into humans? Who wouldn't follow comedy gold like that? Do you believe Kathy's claims? Kathy has recieved many well thought out replies but steams onward, lost in her fantasy.

So, if we hadn't any interest in Adolf and his red flag with the spider, we should have ignored him and his sidekicks and given them a free pass... Wait! We -as a global culture- did that, look how well it turned out. So, if Maduro is building a dictatorship and we speak about it, we are secrectly Chavistas and we're not truly interested in freedom and democracy.

So, I reply to the notion "no true sceptic would bother about Kathie's fantasies" with "no true sceptic would post without carefully scrutinize her or his own words".

Just popped in to say that Barack Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize for doing literally nothing to actually earn it. I have lost any ounce of respect for anything Nobel-related years ago, but this really tops the cake.

But this thread deserves much respect for its work in the fine art of unintentional comedy.

They're all theories Dafydd and other's points of view. Unfortunately very few of mankind experience the 'supernatural' I am one even though I never asked for it. In fact I was probably a bigger sceptic than you before. An atheist such as myself does NOT believe in God but that does not mean I can now ignore that there is some system that we don't understand. I await your sarcastic reply

No, you await my questions that you never answer. Do you believe that Jesus is alive and well and living on Ganymede? Would you even entertain giving a millisecond's credence to such a bizarre fantasy? Look up the meaning of the word theory. Every cracked idea that comes along is not a theory.

No I don't believe Jesus is alive or that he ever lived. I think he was Greek mythology. Yes I know what theory means.... I am well educated.
I don't know why religious people don't consider this..... In the gospels which incidentally were written anonymously and decades after Jesus died, there are pages of what he taught. His 'sayings' are really good philosophy but one would have to have had a shorthand secretary or a tape recorder to have written down verbatim what he said. The same in the OT, there are pages and pages of what God said to Moses; really, again a shorthand typist would have had to have recorded it all

In this site plenty of sceptics, climate change denialists will deliberately provide plenty of links to trashy websites while climate change aware sceptics will provide links to both trashy and good websites in a sloppy fashion.

And that is indeed relevant in terms of the original message of mstricky. But don't allow ourselves to kill this thread by a surfeit of logic and let's get back to Kathie's speculations about Veronica, Dalai Lama, Ginepro, God Father, Madame Curie, the crucified dude on the left, and dogs, sex, murder and the fashion of starting out as a neutrino to later reincarnate as a human in Canada. Because taking a look to everything put together will allow us to perceive the magnitude of Kathie's plume.

And about other treats, from paranormal to transcendental, about the very fabric of the universe, I remind you the thread's topic is "Religious figures reincarnated". Other speculations may deserve their own threads.

If it -were- a theory it would make testable predictions. As things stand, it's like trying to find homeopathic traces of fermented milk products in Mr. Wensleydale's cheese shop.
