That's not what I mean, either.

The JREF forum is the only site with decent debunkers who actually have some intelligence and detailed knowledge of 9/11. To find the truth, you must study both side of the argument. If it weren't for the JREF forum, it would be almost impossible to know the truth.

So you are saying that it is a good thing that debunkers exist, because without them people might actually believe the stuff that the "Truth" Movement is saying? Well said.

The argument from authority fallacy is when you put trust in someone's authority but that person doesn't have authority in the appropriate field.

Like truthers who think Griffin is right about the collapse, but he's not a structural engineer, he's a theologian.

Incidentally, I refuted Hoffman line for line in the thread about seismic signatures. Curiously, you have not responded.

Hoffman is full of it.
