Okay, I have been reading calculus or doing calculus for about 5 hours, and I will admit I was being a idiot. Yeah, so I apologise and will admit I was being a jerk, yeah so sorry for being a jerk.
I personally blame myself, however G.H. Hardy's a mathematical apology made applied mathematics look trivial. I won't be reading that book again.
 
Apology accepted, at least you have the ability to admit your mistakes, which many people are incapable of.

Don't worry, these things are forgotten rather quickly, just remember to avoid the kind of generalisations you have made in this thread.

Hope springs enternal. I'm hoping that he learned something from this thread - the beginning of some humility. I'm hoping even more that that may extend to threads about other topics.

If all the things that looked trivial actually were trivial, we'd all be millionaire athlete geniuses riding around on our pimped-out flat-screen dinosaurs.

It takes a big man to apologize after the kind of crap you talked, good for you.
